scattykatty · 12/10/2009 19:36

tis this

scattykatty · 12/10/2009 19:37

I'd like to add it's a one off and a LOT of people are gonna go in with me

maxybrown · 12/10/2009 19:39

Pashley is gorgeous, would love one, but no chance lol!!!

maxybrown · 12/10/2009 19:42

Fortunately DS's inside leg is JUST about 10" so it would be a long time before he was big enough to attempt riding a Pashley thankfully I sat him on a balance bike in Halfords on saturday and he was miles from the floor

maxybrown · 12/10/2009 19:43

SK, you don't have to justify yourself. If I had the money I would get one, gorgeous!

scattykatty · 12/10/2009 19:43

Yeah GP's have gone in with me and sis, so not too bad, but it'll be pretty much his only present

nicolamumof3 · 12/10/2009 19:52

Thats lovely SK, what age is it from?

scattykatty · 12/10/2009 19:54

I think, Maxy, I've been reading the linchings that someone got on Parenting for spending £150 on their DS for Xmas and I'm feeling bad.

The thing is that I wouldn't spend that much on a lot of small toys but this will last years and so I feel it's more of an investment buy

It's just the nicest thing I've ever seen So when I wonder round in my rags at least DS will have this!

nicolamumof3 · 12/10/2009 19:57

don't blame you and he's your only one, its the same amount i spend but i have to spread it between three!

scattykatty · 12/10/2009 19:59

It's from 3 but DS has very long legs so should be ok in the summer.

I do feel bad but he has a Jan birthday so if he doesn't get bikes and stuff now when will he?

My friend has got her 12 yo DS an Xbox, Rock band and other bits already! I'm so not that organised [blish]

scattykatty · 12/10/2009 20:02

Nicola I agree that it is a lot because he's my only and my parents only DGC's so he does get spoiled at Christmas. However they don't get him anything else throughout the year.

nicolamumof3 · 12/10/2009 20:05

SK i'd do the same if i could afford it, so don't worry i never care what others spend or what they think of what i spend. i get what i like for my kids if i can afford it they have it, yes they may be spoiled but they are nice kids (so im told!) tom appreciates all his stuff he's really careful with it.

scattykatty · 12/10/2009 20:11

Thanks. I just feel a bit guilty! It is a lot

This woment old me today she spent £280 in White stuff for herself on saturday and didn't really seem to be bothered. As I said on the parenting thread I think it's about each person's priorities. I hardly know anyone here so I'm not bothered about clothes for me, I wouldn't buy a pedigree dog either but when it comes to Christmas I just love getting DS nice things. I just feel a bit guily when I do!

scattykatty · 12/10/2009 20:13

Each to their own as I say!

Anyway, Maxy what did you want to know about the XLR?

It's the buggy I use the most TBH

5inthetomb · 12/10/2009 20:27

What new pram you getting pebs?

I was in H&M Saturday and today . Spent money both times . Bought my neice some lovely knitted dresses and knitted tights on Saturday. My sister hates them though, prefers her in jeans and tshirts. I don't care, my neice looks lovely and she loves it when I but her clothes. Today I bought all the DC hats and gloves from there. Also went into M&S and they had some great stuff for sale. Bought DS1 transformers pj type things, boxers and tshirts, £3 each! Also bought DS3 a lovely shirt for £5 reduced from £13. Lovely stuff for girls as well. If I had a daughter, I'd be bankrupt!

scattykatty · 12/10/2009 20:38

Nicola did you ever get your boys those green duffles from Next? They were looooovvvvellly!

sal1309 · 12/10/2009 20:43

i have done quite well and probably spent about £100 on dd for xmas but would of been alot more if bought at full price but i did my xmas shopping last january lol

nicolamumof3 · 12/10/2009 20:50

scattykatty · 12/10/2009 20:50

nicolamumof3 · 12/10/2009 20:51

i buy through the year too, its the only way with that lot. also got Toms nike trainers he wanted off ebay was really pleased bnib for £26 and thats like his main present.

scattykatty · 12/10/2009 20:54

I love the colour. However, I've really got to save tis soooooo hard!

How long does it take for Next online to invoice you for stuff you've bought? I bought DS those Con types and I want to pay but it won't let me! I hate owing money, I like to know exactly how much I have.

nicolamumof3 · 12/10/2009 20:57

I don't know usually they just send you a bill each month, i know ours is due around the 18th.

scattykatty · 12/10/2009 21:00

nicolamumof3 · 12/10/2009 21:06
