Hello and welcome!

OP posts:
janx · 11/10/2009 21:21

Thanks re name - I love it too....found it really hard to think of a boys name - still not sure he suits Luka ...
I really want Stacey to win - I am biased though as I am from East London!

scattykatty · 11/10/2009 21:29

Nicola what belts do you have? DS has 1. Literally! Need age 2-3 ish.

nicolamumof3 · 11/10/2009 21:32

have several! theres a pic with them all on on clothes for sale thread £1.50 each del. mainly beige/brown colours, white or navy? most of them are 2-3 as come off Tates trousers. Luka doesn't need a belt bless him!

Janx I had so many names for luka DH dismissed them all but gave in as long as we would spell with a K instead of a 'C' i still prefer it with a C tho!!

janx · 11/10/2009 21:36

oh god save me from watching doc martin!
Nicola my dp was the same - he wrote off all my names...wanted them to be short as his surname is long.

nicolamumof3 · 11/10/2009 21:40

I wanted Max, Stanley, Sidney, (James i love but that is Tates middle name!), Harrison, Oscar, Chester, Dexter,

maxybrown · 11/10/2009 21:48

Because we both work in schools we couldn't agree as we both had dealings with children of certain names!!! We didn't have a girls name at all.

James we had as I wanted to name him after my Grandad, his middle name is Eadric though We liked Max but DH's best bear is called...........MAXYBROWN!!!

nicolamumof3 · 11/10/2009 21:55

so you are named after a bear lol!!

i love the name James, it was my grand dads name and also is my brothers name i wanted Tate to be James but he's got both our grandads names so he's Tate William James. Luka's middle name is Charles and Tom's is Louis (tho his dad always insists its pronounced Lewis!! Grrr)

nicolamumof3 · 11/10/2009 21:56

Our girls name was Amelie or Amelie with Rose for middle name. i like Ava too but doesn't really go with our surname.

We've changed into baby name thread!!

maxybrown · 11/10/2009 22:00

lol, makes a change from clothes I suppose. Waiting ti hear back about XLR don't think it will be mine

nicolamumof3 · 11/10/2009 22:02

oooh exciting have you sold triumph? i really wanted to love my xlr was gutted when it was too big. luka looked fab in it so much room.

scattykatty · 11/10/2009 22:04

I wanted Clementine for a girl or Arabella

James I adore. My best friends name

janx · 11/10/2009 22:05

I wanted Conor, Jack or Tom - dp hated conor, and his nephews are called Jack and Tom

Hey Nicola - Frida's middle name is Amelie

scattykatty · 11/10/2009 22:08

DH wanted Alexander, then it took 3 days to get DS out, I got an infection and nearly died, so I said I wanted the name I liked and he gave in

janx · 11/10/2009 22:15

What name did you go for?
Have a real Sunday night feeling - do not want to go to work tomorrow

maxybrown · 11/10/2009 22:27

Oh Jan, I remember that feeling, horrible I hated my last job and there's nothing worse.

maxybrown · 11/10/2009 22:29

Oh and no, not sold trium[h yet. had 2 people ask for pics so waiting to hear back. Reckon SGK will prob want the XLR though. Got offered Xt but too much.

janx · 11/10/2009 22:35

I used to really like my job - but when I went back after ds - nearly a year ago everything changed...now its even more stresful as have ds and dd in different places and pick-ups/drop offs are complicated. Looking for something else but v difficult atm

5inthetomb · 11/10/2009 22:36

I loved the names Duncan, Isaac, Lucas, Lewis and Alfie for DS3. DH was a PITA and said no to all of them. He names ds3, Harry, and his middle name is James after FIL who died from cancer a week after we found out I was pregnant with him. Was a shock pregnancy as well, as had to have fertility treatment for ds1+2

BexieID · 11/10/2009 22:55

Hmm names...with Tom our boys list was: Adam, Thomas & Toby and our girls was: Chloe, Erin & Phoebe. This baby, no idea, lol.

5inthetomb · 11/10/2009 23:01

Are you going to find out the sex of the baby Bexie?

maxybrown · 11/10/2009 23:32

boooooooooooo no pushchair for me. Do you know, we paid £115 for our xlr in February brand new from Boots. the prices now are unbelieveable!! They have practically doubled in price! Sniff. The triumph is just too small for us. If anyone hears of anyone selling an xlr cheapish, would be much apprciated. Even the older blue and orangey ones.

nicolamumof3 · 12/10/2009 07:39

Morning all! i had the older tan/orange spare covers for my xlr. the seat is so generous on the xlr i just needed to be a few inches taller for it. they are nice and wide tho and nice liner. I love my black XT. Still not sure what to do with the footmuff tho.

maxybrown · 12/10/2009 07:47

Oh yes so you did, I remember now! I also remmbered it was last september we bought the xlr from Boots, even so the price hike is amazing isn't it.

Is the footmuff nice?

mamadivasawnaker · 12/10/2009 07:47

Hi again ladies, how is everyone?

Apologies about my drunken ravings the other night (they make no sense LOL)!

Quick question does anyone know if you can put a buggy board on a Mac Quest? Friend has a Quuest for buses etc and uses it for her 6MO but she has a 2 year old also and one of these would be handy but she does'nt think you can get one to fit.

Thanks.

nicolamumof3 · 12/10/2009 07:57

you must have bought it Maxy before the new ones came out you know when they were all on offer? Thats when they had the xt's for £80! i bought one off ebay and because i had a voucher i got my first grey xt bnib for £75!

the footmuff
is fine i just dont know why i dont love it, it was just so expensive if i don't love it iykwim?
