We are all so kiddie focused arent we, rightly so but still, we matter too

I am a bog standard markies t shirts and jeans girl, tis pretty boring but its functional. If I am clean I am happy, style is at the moment evading me

StrictlyAvadaKedavraarrrrghhhh · 08/10/2009 08:37

Are we all sorted out with pushchairs now then, this seems to have turned into the Clothes thread!

nicolamumof3 · 08/10/2009 08:43

Yes it has a bit hasn't strictly i must admit i check S&B threads now more regularly than pushchairs sale board!

I paid for uggs purely from selling on ebay so i could afford then had 20pc off at shudoo so quite pleased that i bought them myself.

suns shining today after two days of rain, off to toddlers then p.o and library.

NaccetyMac · 08/10/2009 09:09

Strictly, I am hankering after a Mutsy but I have no cash until the end of Octber WOE I'm definitely going to hunt one out then though!

And I wanna Nurse Four. But that must wait. How about you?

horsemadgal · 08/10/2009 09:34

I'm still hankering after Stokke.

mumofdj, DS1 got his hat n gloves on today it is soo cold in the morning. I have progressed to light hoody zip up, no coat yet haaaa!

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/10/2009 09:58

OP posts:
carrielou2007 · 08/10/2009 10:30

Morning

The sun is shining here, got a hard days shopping later to M and P, Mothercare and Ikea .

Mumof I never spend money on myself, I have the same clothes have had for years, I like my hair nice and nails nice and lashings of mascara and that's about it really!!

I've been chatting to someone who can't come on here anymore (and has a switch) so think I might get one. Then dd's dad said he'd like to come to Ikea (brill, he can carry the bookcase I want) but may limit my time looking at 'not more bloody buggies, you've got 2 upstairs already' as he says

5inthetomb · 08/10/2009 10:48

HMG, the audi driver cut me up at a round about, forcing me into a different lane, even though he was in the wrong one. BTW, do you still need those bibs . They were in DH's car boot! Posted them my arse!

I am freezing. Its really cold here today. Need to buy the boys gloves and hats. Tesco have some nice ones, fur lined.

Wasn't 1LM selling a Mutsy?

Carrie, I love Ikea. I'd gladly shop there than buy a new pram

BexieID · 08/10/2009 10:58

I've been up since about 5am. Toms not well and is constantly complaining of a sore ear.

horsemadgal · 08/10/2009 11:12

Oh no Bexie, poor Tom. Hope he feels better soon.

5in, gah to the Audi driver. Lots desperate to get past learners, they forget they were lesrners themselves once.
Yes please to bibs. They are the best things ever. Did I ever pay you?

FlyMe, any colour but green probably!

5inthetomb · 08/10/2009 11:28

HMG, no I didn't want anything for them. WIll either post today or tomorrow for you then. . I was 2 minutes away from test centre as well, so close to passing!

Green stokkes are lovely, but I would get blue if I ever got one.

nicolamumof3 · 08/10/2009 11:39

oh 5in im so for you what a shame sending you virtual choccie and hugs to cheer you up, a new purchase is what you need

pebbles79 · 08/10/2009 11:40

I think I want a Mutsy Spider just to try it out. I'm getting an XT next month so need something to keep me going!

nicolamumof3 · 08/10/2009 11:49

i fancied a spider before but everyone slagged them off so didn't bother! are you getting black xt? i might still sell my footmuff i can't decide luka has now decided he hates that as well.

StrictlyAvadaKedavraarrrrghhhh · 08/10/2009 12:15

Still hankering after an Oyster or a Norton Storm here. Kind of in love with the Vigour 4, only improvement would be if it folded in one piece - damn there simply isn't THE PERFECT PRAM out there for me.

Didn't get chance to go and play with the Peaches (Peachii?) will try tomorrow

Stokke - auntiefi has one up for sale methinks?

BexieID · 08/10/2009 12:15

I'm sat here in my PJs with Tom asleep on me. Need to phone nursery and let them know he won't be going. Shame, as his key worker leaves today. I'm glad I gave her her pressie on tuesday.

5inthetomb · 08/10/2009 12:32

LOL @ Peachii

I would love to see one. I've just checked the JL website, and they don't have them. I thought they sold Icandys?

I've gone off Oysters. Reason being is that they have no sides to them, so no protection from elements.

StrictlyAvadaKedavraarrrrghhhh · 08/10/2009 12:39

Oyster seats remind me of Bee seats.

pebbles79 · 08/10/2009 13:21

Yep Nicola, getting a black XT and I blame you !

claret1980 · 08/10/2009 13:40

Hi!

Took ds1 to hospita to see sbout getting tonsils and adenoids out and they said ok, what a difference just seeing another doctor. Now we are on the list and hopefully get an appointment after Christmas.

Have no urge to buy a puchchair! I never thought that I would say that. Maybe my mind wil change after Christmas.

I have been looking at some clothes for dd for parties etc, she seems to be growing so fast.

Tiredmumofdjandbabies · 08/10/2009 14:22

when I think of ikea I think of meatballs is that bad

scattykatty · 08/10/2009 14:32

I don't like Ikea... sorry! I just don't.

I like JL, things last well form JL and they have fab customer services. My new curtains just came from there and look really lovely. Had to get 2 pairs for the bedroom as it has 2 windows obviously and I'm so pleased with them

Knickers0nmaChoppedOffhead · 08/10/2009 14:39

Are piddle pads any good? Dd has decided she wants to wear knick knicks like a big girl!
