yeah right....you haven't closed the pp claim have you?

Ok no worries. Don't be...he'll be fine! Best to have it when smaller. I'd bring DS round if you were closer

maxybrown · 17/09/2009 20:55

Anyway, if he has a "couple" of spots and it IS chicken pox, they'll pop out like mad from now on in!! generally anyway....April/May is usually a good chicken pox time

scattykatty · 17/09/2009 20:56

No I've not, I don't trust her an inch!

I thought it was a couple of bites but my friend is pretty convinced... I guess it is better for him to have it when he's little but he won't understand not to scratch!

PS, been to Cheadle yet

FlyMeToDunoon · 17/09/2009 21:05

Maxy there's an opera seat on ads.

maxybrown · 17/09/2009 21:16

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo groan, haven't made it to cheadle yet....might go tomrrow actually now you've said that

At school I have seen chicken pox pop out before my eyes!!

scattykatty · 17/09/2009 21:22

Are you a teacher then? I'm hoping she's wrong and he just has a few bites, was hoping to take him swimming on sat

5inthebed · 17/09/2009 21:34

Oh no Sk, hope he hasn't got the pox . DS2 had the pox when he was about 20 months old, was very poorly with them. Nearly hospitalised as he wouldn't drink anything.

I've been to my brothers for tea. He's just bought a house near us with his wife. Was a nice night. HE has loads of new stuff from Ikea though

scattykatty · 17/09/2009 21:36

Hahahaha jealousy is a terrible emotion 5in

I really don't want him to have it, I hate my precious baby being ill I know it's better to get it over with, but still!

maxybrown · 17/09/2009 21:48

You should def know by the morning SK.

I am a teaching assistant usually.....leave the teaching to DH, he is the one that has all the work to do when he gets home

Thanks Dunoon! Think I will have to go for an urban as no trophy's in my price bracket

nicolamumof3 · 17/09/2009 22:06

oh bless your ds scatty it is nasty, has he been poorly? as they're unwell before the spots show usually?

Get some piriton if he has got it as that helps with the itching.

I feel awful but i know i won't sleep...again.

Oh no Nic, still bad? What about salt water gargle too?

Help me decide on pushchair combo instead then

scattykatty · 18/09/2009 09:28

So not having a good morning, DS probs has the pox, ebay seller says stuff is missing and another ebay seller sent me a horrible email cos I left them neg feedback after I pressed BIN and they told me the item had been sold 2 days ago... how is that my fault! This is why I very rarely use ebay

NaccetyMac · 18/09/2009 09:33

Has anyone heard anything from Maclaren at all?

maxybrown · 18/09/2009 09:39

Oh Sk ignore silly ebayer, twas there own fault.

Has he got more spots then?

carrielou2007 · 18/09/2009 10:10

Morning all.

Still sat here waiting for dd'd dad (said we need to leave at 10am) I don't have any of his clothes or anything yet still to pack. He said he'll be five min and he lives 20 mins away so I doubt knowing him we will see him before 11.30 so that's the whole morning wasted

SK ignore ebay seller, I had similar I bought something local pich up only sold for 99p and suprise suprise the seller said sorry we sold it last week in free ads paper - what sold it before you listed it then?? I still haven't left feedback yet as waiting to see if they relist at higher price first.

5inthebed · 18/09/2009 10:24

Naccety, I haven't heard from her, and I have emailed her lt week about my parcel. I hope she is ok.

SK, horrible Ebay sellers. Who keeps a listing on when they've sold something!

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/09/2009 11:24

I think you can report abusive emails too.
Ebay does seem to attract a few weirdos.
Morning everyone.
Just had the all clear at the dentist. Amazing!
Walked for miles and so am relaxing with millions of biscuits and a cuppa.

scattykatty · 18/09/2009 13:08

No more spots, just the 10 or so her had last night, I'm really hoping it's just a rash....

99p seller has refunded, really annoyed cos I didn't ask for a refund, I want the item I won fair and square! I don't believe it got lost in the post, I believe she didn't like the price it went for!

Have reported 2nd ebay seller, I don't see why I should get emails calling me a b***d when they were the one listing something they didn't have any longer!

I officially HATE ebay!

scattykatty · 18/09/2009 13:09

he had!

maxybrown · 18/09/2009 13:32

They called you that??! Cheeky so and so. Def report them then, that's terrible. DH reported someone once because they accused him of being a piss head etc because he put a low offer in on a buy it now or best offer, they were really personal and rude.

10 spots?.......you got a pic of them?

scattykatty · 18/09/2009 13:36

He's sleeping right now, will take some when he gets up. He's in a really bad mood today

I was really shocked when I got that email TBH. I mean I was the one who was disappointed as I thought I had something only they turned around and said it was gone so I don't really think swearing at people is justified!

scattykatty · 18/09/2009 13:54

One of my cousins DS's is turning 2 in 3 weeks, she can't make up her mind between

this

or this

I said the Ferrari was a bit chavvy... plus the other one can be remote steered by the parents. Any opinions? She should make a decision soon mind as they will take a while to come and his birthday is on the 13th

lecohen · 18/09/2009 13:59

Hi all,

Nicola, thanks for the bedding - they smell gorgeous as well - what do you use? yummy! lol x

Knickers0nmahead · 18/09/2009 14:03

SK, bricks came today, dd is sat playing with them now, thank you!!!!!!

Nicola, ds looks ssooooo cute in the hats, esp the gap one!! Thank you!

horsemadgal · 18/09/2009 14:07

skatty, I like the Ferrari one best. But don't think either are worth it for a 2 year old.
