Morning guys wow I've never managed to be the one on at the start of the month

hows he getting on Bexie,

luka's having his first nap in his big boys bed! he went straight off. i expect it will be different tonight when they're both in there!!

BexieID · 02/09/2009 14:12

Not too bad. When I picked him up yesterday they were playing outside and Tom was finger to mouth holding hands with a teacher, not playing. Came running over to me when he saw me. Hes very cautious with ride one toys (they had didicars, pull along tyres, scooters and a bike) so wouldn't expect him to go on one just yet. They had playground chalk and balls, which he does like, but no, he's holding the teachers hand!

He's just like daddy. MIL said she had to stop sending DP to playschool (as it was known then, lol) as he refused to go!

BexieID · 02/09/2009 14:15

I'm waitng for my mum to order that carbed someone linked on here way back in June. She doesn't want to pay £220 for it, then they go and reduce it. Fair anough, but thats life, lol. And I want the red one. Black one is only £110 . But its Toms xmas and b/day from my parents.

horsemadgal · 02/09/2009 14:31

I wouldn't pay £220 either Bexie, but then I'm tighter than a tight thing.
Is it full size bed? Def wouldn't if small bed.
I had the Lightning McQueen one reserved for a few weeks ago in my Argos, gone now:

mumofdjandbabies · 02/09/2009 14:48

guys anyone know how to take off a sports p and t main cover to wash it?

unscrew?

take off handle first?

I am thoroughly confused!!!

1legmummy · 02/09/2009 15:16

Micralite here, very very good condition. Easy to put up and down. BUT seems very tippy when no child sitting in seat.

I need to lean on it when I walk.

Got friend here at mo but will update when I have had a play x

AvadaKedavra · 02/09/2009 15:44

thx for the link Bexie, never knew it was there

urmmm, that was a bit random about crumpets there lol!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 02/09/2009 15:45

ooh yes and piccies. i never heard back from my micralite seller

BexieID · 02/09/2009 16:01

Hehe, well I fancied crumpets for lunch, you know the 1cm thick ones the circumference of a cup? Couldn't get them, so so the bigger thin ones, which I assume is the Scottish version and they are sweet, lol.

Guess who I saw riding a Didicar when I picked him up from nursery?

The car bed is a single size one with a underbed drawer.

sal1309 · 02/09/2009 16:26

afternoon all

well back from scan and everything is ok

bexie, she hasnt got the instructions, she think they got lost in the last move she did.

nicolamumof3 · 02/09/2009 16:28

glad to hear that sal x

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/09/2009 16:45

Good news on the scan Sal.
Bexie scottish crumpets are more like pancakes -non? I used to love them buttered and rolled up.mmmmmmm
What did you reckon to a Jane Nest Plus Nicola?
I think I am going to make a fleece liner for the XT and have wings at the sides to protect the seat fabrics and keep DD cosy of course.

BexieID · 02/09/2009 16:47

Yes, like pancakes. They were ok, but I wanted the non sweet version, lol.

nicolamumof3 · 02/09/2009 16:49

wasn't sure if might be too big? i will await your verdit. liner sounds good idea, wonder if you could get it fix onto those buttons on side, same place as seat covers with some fine elastic that would be good?

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/09/2009 17:00

Yes or just little buttonholes although the buttonholing is my least favourite thing to do.
When you wash your covers does the fluorescent stuff on the piping wear off? It did on my old XT but I haven't washed this one yet

nicolamumof3 · 02/09/2009 17:16

i think it will when you wash it over time, first wash mine looks exactly the same. are you still liking xt? i don't think you can beat them. i really love mine.

farrahplus3 · 02/09/2009 17:25

why is selling pushchairs such hard work,
im desperatly trying to keep my cam and sell all the others but having no luck at all
anyway how are we all today?

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/09/2009 17:33

Oh yes I do love it. It is practical and easy to use. Feels easier to push than the Jane- I think the angle of the handles must be different somehow. The only thing I don't particulaly like is the newer harness buckle.
I miss the jane fabrics though. That is a great thing about the nest plus it is showerproof and the front comes up high so you can get away with no raincover of it isn't to hard. They wash really well too. I hope my one comes tomorrow. You could be right about it being too long, we will see.

5inthebed · 02/09/2009 17:34

Wow, it's like being in a Boden boxing ring in here .

Missed a parcel being delivered today, possibly from Maclaren.

Been to DS2's friends today, first time he has ever been invited round to a friends. It was lovely!

5inthebed · 02/09/2009 17:35

Excellent news about the scan Sal, did they alter your dates at all?

Knickers0nMaHead · 02/09/2009 18:07

I want to know how to take the main cover off the p&t sport. The e3 handle just clips off the frame then the cover slides up, but cant do that with the sport. Bexie, have just had the e3 covers in the bath. I've scrubbed them but its raining now so cant get them dry atm. As soon as they are dry I will take pics. There are a couple of scuffs that wont come out though.

claret1980 · 02/09/2009 18:34

oh yeah I would like to know how to get the covers off a sport as well. Mine need a good wash too. Do they go in the washing machine?

Knickers0nMaHead · 02/09/2009 19:08

The e3 seat wouldn't go in my machine cos of the board through the back.

scattykatty · 02/09/2009 19:39

Is it just me or can you no longer gift money on paypal without fees? Someone just told me that but I though everyone was always always asking for it to be gifted so they wouldn't pay fees....?

BexieID · 02/09/2009 19:45

I think you don't pay fees if you have the money in PP.
