We had fantastic May, June and July, was sooo hot so can't complain really.

Waiting on rain going off still so can walk to PO.

claret1980 · 08/09/2009 10:44

I hope you all enjoy your sun. I'm live near the lake district and it rains loads here. It was nice yesterday but I had to wait in for the courier to take the Zapp.
It is supposed to be nice tomorrow and Thursday so I will be able to take the biys out then.

It is taking me a bit to get back into the routine of the school & nursery run again.

scattykatty · 08/09/2009 10:51

I'm in Wilts, that's pretty south! Still raining and cold!

Nicola posty just dropped off the tops THANK YOU! I love them, I must confess I imstantly whipped off DS's other top to put the elephant one on, he looks lovely They smell lovely too, what powder do you use, I have an addiction to the smell of Fairy

maxybrown · 08/09/2009 11:01

hey, dibs on that top sk when he's outgrown how old is your DS?

scattykatty · 08/09/2009 11:07

He turned 20 months yesterday, I'm horrified that my precious angel is coming up to 2 fast!

nicolamumof3 · 08/09/2009 11:09

SK everyone says that about my washing, i should say in case you use non bio that i don't it just doesn't clean my boys clothes, i normally use aerial but i think its the lenor softenor that is lovely!! the blue one.

scattykatty · 08/09/2009 11:11

Yeah I do use non bio, don't really know why, just that you're meant to when they are newborn and I never stopped Gonna get some Lenor for sure!

maxybrown · 08/09/2009 11:14

i use non bio - persil has been the best for still getting clothes clean.......but as SK says, don't know why really!!! I love Fairy though too and comfort softener..........how sad are we talking about soap powder.liquid? Sheesh.

nicolamumof3 · 08/09/2009 11:14

well you might want to re-wash if he's got sensitive skin SK

my retro spot snuggle just arrived from ebay, like brand new! v.pleased just going to wash it to give it that fresh smell

would anyone who's bought from me mind leaving feedback? its just when i looked last week noticed i hadn't had any since feb and i've sold loads recently.

nicolamumof3 · 08/09/2009 11:15

the fairy almond and honey softener smells lovely!!

maxybrown · 08/09/2009 11:19

Ah me neither Nic on the feedback, I've given up!
I hope those jeans arrive soon.

My DS will be 2 a week today!!!

I just got some of those baggies from Next and a pair of jeans and don't like either of them

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/09/2009 11:25

Hi guys,
Tell me if you had bought off ebay on the 30th august, waited for 1st class postage, emailed seller, been told her DCs had been ill and she was posting that day [Sat] and still not gotten it but had recieved the parcel your mother in Edinburgh had posted 1st class yesterday, would you consider:
a-emailing again
b-complaining to someone [ebay?]
c-waiting a couple more days
d-any other suggestions....

scattykatty · 08/09/2009 11:31

A

maxybrown · 08/09/2009 11:33

Is it sat just gone? I posted Nicola something before Sat and they haven't got there yet

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/09/2009 11:36

Hmm I hate these things. Think I will give it until Thursday maybe thats 4 working days since they said they posted.

maxybrown · 08/09/2009 11:39

Yeah that's fair dunoon I guess. Don't think the post is all that great in some areas. I had something once off ebay took well over a week to arrive 1st class recorded. It was dated when they said too!
