I am trying to get my head around DDs going to/back to school on Monday. I will have to iron on some name tapes, check again that they both have everything they need, stock up on packed lunch stuff and after school snack stuff..........Busy.

I only found out the other week that car tyres don't have an inner tube . I am so dim.

I just drive the car, lol. I can check the oil level though with the dipstick . The car we just gor, DP got the guy to put on new brakes and pads as they needed doing, i'd have no idea if they'd been done or not, but he says they have.

Pay day today! Nicola, will pay you for mobile asap!

Just been to the denist, she said I had perfect teeth so feeling quite smug DH has 4 fillings in total so I think was actually hoping I'd have something wrong so he could tease me! DS has first check up..opened his mouth she said he had 4 teeth (19 months) and that was it!

PS, that's 4 fillings in his life not 4 fillings this time...don't want people imaging the poor man never bushes his teeth Just not that often

Well, I am fed up with Boden. Just got 2 pairs of cords (gorgeous) from boys section and I can only just get them on him!! I'll have to order age 3!!! Bum, DS back to no trousers now apart from dungies! Age 3??!! Can't believe it, we still have age 9 12 shorts upstairs!

Oh and just to finish my moaning.....I meant they just fit and the bloomin baggies from the baby section will prob fit him when he's 4 if I'm lucky! Sending them back and waiting.....grrrr. Right, sorry, I'll stop now.

I found with the summer stuff though it all came a lot quicker than it said.

I'm off to Next I think...they have some baggies of their own in this year and lined too AND with working drawstring - yay! I may even have a trip to JL in Cheadle

i just got back from shopping, ladies 20pc off in baby gap til Tuesday on everything. plus two for £12 on their l/s tee's and lightweight trackie bottoms so had to get them, and swapped pj's i bought in JoJo that were a funny shape for a lovely grey hooded top that will match star knee cords. Then i go into new look, try on (for me!!!) some lovely trackies £12 a pair and some cropped ones £8 and then spot a top i like. then felt terribly guilty put it all back.....why?! i think nothing of spending much more on boys. Are any of you like that or just me. im feeling sorry for myself now, as they were so comfy it was bliss to go round shops on my own tho and starbucks!! v.rare treat.

I know exactly what you mean, I'll go to JL and buy toys for the DS, clothes, tons of stuff and then when I bought a new hairdryer for me (old one was broken I felt totally sick with guilt!
