Sob I'm 25! Why did it have to happen!

BexieID · 18/08/2009 09:29

lol, I remember when I turned 25 and had a letter from work saying that I had to start paying into the company pension!

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/08/2009 09:34

Scatty I have very little sympathy since I am 45.
25 is a great age to be. Congratulations on your birthday and have a lovely day!
I washed all of my fabric last night ready to make liners. I might try selling if I can get my arse in gear. Need to be doing something when DD3 goes to nursery in sept anyway.
Off to do fabulous housework! Shopping order arriving between 10-11 and will be hanging and sorting washing like a maiac since the weather is set to be very hot.
Have a good day everyone. No doubt I will be on later when I am free.

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/08/2009 09:35

maniac!

horsemadgal · 18/08/2009 09:35

25??? Merely at pup!
But LOL at company pension. I remember getting the big talk when I started work at 17 about that. Thing is, aren't they saying there will be no old age pension when we are old so you have to have one???

JigglyPiggy · 18/08/2009 09:41

morning

'Here miss'

Happy Birthday Scatty!!

I really really really want a Bee! I will probably hate it when i get it but at the moment i want one!!!

If anyone can suggest some fabrics in green and some in yellow that would be great.

oh and i keep seeing spitfires on ebay but DS is too little to be FF and i don't even want to think about him getting bigger as he's growing up to fast as it is

mumofdjandbabies · 18/08/2009 09:46

a mere baby happy birthday

OP posts:
AvadaKedavra · 18/08/2009 10:01

Happy Birthday 25, a baby indeed! am rapidly heading towards 40 here

I'm on this forum now Love that pram! SGK not really looking to join yet another (assume it's Pramaholics?)

I want to buy something.

Someone's borrowed my cheapo buggy a week ago just to get home the once, they've been obviously using it for the last week as it's caked in sand, food and milk stains. It's only my basic £10 Tesco one but I am SO pissed off at that. They did same when they borrowed my MC carseat the once, got it back a week later again covered in shite.

mumofdjandbabies · 18/08/2009 10:08

ohhhhhhhhhhhh yuk! how rude

scattykatty · 18/08/2009 10:18

Ha ha I got a letter telling me about a smear test Oh and the laptop DH had bought me was the wrong colour! Clearly the man at the Amazon depot cannot read the difference between 'White' and 'Silver'.... poor DH was gutted Oh well!

Went to Legoland yesterday instead so taking DS to a soft play thing today.

AV I really fancy something new too. I was really good for ages then I went crazy and bought a Zapp, a Bugaboo Breezy, cupholder and the wheeled Travel bag oops. At least Stokke finally sent the new TT yesterday so tis all good.

Wow I'm half way to 50!

AvadaKedavra · 18/08/2009 12:17

not literally shite lol she'd have had her bloody nose rubbed in it if that were the case!!

I have to admit I have a hankering for an Explory but no way could I afford it unless I sold my Cam but then not worth doing that as I know Explory would just be a trier not a keeper.

JigglyPiggy · 18/08/2009 14:10

saw an explory in the flesh the other day and I'm not sure its one for me. Having said that its taken ages for the bee to grow on me as i hated it at first!

I am liking the high trek, so much so I have bought another seat unit for it! I now have to find two bebe confort hoods

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/08/2009 14:14

Oooh Jiggly so you have tried out the high trek. Give us a review then. Does it feel heavy to push? What seat colours have you got?
etc.

SparklyGothKat · 18/08/2009 14:19

mumof you can email me, lol. Everyone has gone over to pramos but hoping that once S&P gets workig again we can get the group up and running again

JigglyPiggy · 18/08/2009 14:27

have'nt gone outside with it yet as its too sunny for DS without the hood!

Its got the blue grey seat on it which reclines near enough flat which and i will soon have a red opera seat for it.

It looks huge due to having three large air filled wheels but it is great to push!

It has a hand brake and a switch on this to change between fixed/swivel wheel. The handle bar can also be adjusted height wise.

It has a huge basket on it which is so easy to access even when the seat is flat and its so easy to fold.

The only downside is the frame has quite a few scrapes on it and one looks a bit rusty but im going to see if DH can clean it up and use some car paint on it if i can find a match.

anymore questions? can do some pics if anyone wants to see?

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/08/2009 14:30

Pics forward and rear facing please.

mumofdjandbabies · 18/08/2009 14:56

JigglyPiggy · 18/08/2009 15:00

found the camera and they are now taking ages to upload!

Don't expect them to be great quality pics I'm nowhere near as good as Norma for pram pics!

JigglyPiggy · 18/08/2009 15:19

here

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/08/2009 15:55

Aha thanks.
That handle has ssooo many attachments on it! Is that the type of seat that flattens itself?
Looks good.

AvadaKedavra · 18/08/2009 15:58

looks v comfy for the child Jiggly but not sure on that weird axle on the front wheel thingy, I hate that look on Buzz's Buzzes Buzzi!! too

FlyMeToDunoon · 18/08/2009 18:19

About to dish up dinner.
Sold the Energy but only for £50
Well at least it was cash. Now got to make sure it goes into the bank and not into a shop till.
