well if she gets back to me i will let you know. im debating on spending all my pp funds on a gorgeous footmuff instead at this rate!!

its soooooo slow selling atm. i can't afford footmuff AND micralite.

5inthebed · 30/08/2009 21:34

Maxy, definitely want it! It's just the think for DS3 . I don't mind you putting it on the for sale boards again though if you want to try sell it before Friday. But if you don't mind keeping it for me, that'd be lovely.

LOL @ your DH Nicola. My DH says the same to me!

maxybrown · 30/08/2009 21:48

not at all 5in. will wait for you, saves me any hassle! I still have the boxes it came to me in so nice and easy

5inthebed · 30/08/2009 21:59

Oh fab

maxybrown · 30/08/2009 22:15

when do you reckon it'll be 5in? I can get myself prepared then!

5inthebed · 30/08/2009 22:18

Friday probably . I might be able to do it earlier though. Is your PP address the same address you emailed me from?

maxybrown · 30/08/2009 22:21

no worries ma dear. No, PP is [email protected]

Don't ask!! lol. Need to change it, just can't be bothered! hate making any changes on PP as it always ends up being a right royal pain

BexieID · 30/08/2009 22:50

Are any of you in Tunbridge Wells? Theres a P&T thas collection only, just on £50 atm ending tomorrow. Was thinking of putting in a bid but it's collection only. No doubt it will go up in price tomorrow!

Krissy, was it you after one of those Chicco baby walker things?

horsemadgal · 31/08/2009 00:44

Nice Skate here Bexie
on eBay

nicolamumof3 · 31/08/2009 07:35

Bexie im in Tonbridge and Dunoon is Tunbridge Wells. Have you tried Tom in doubles seat in Newborn Mode? I really can't imagine him fitting Bexie?

FlyMeToDunoon · 31/08/2009 08:34

I see it Bexie. Could definitely collect if you need me too.
Morning all.
Feeling very bored. DP and DD1 have been away since Friday at his brother's wedding. [we couldn't afford for us all to go].
Long long days with two small children. Up at 6.50 and at least one of them in bed with me at some point in the night.
DP back tonight and then back at work tomorrow when I will have the three DDs again all to myself until school and nursery kick in.
Just holding on till then.

pebbles79 · 31/08/2009 08:56

I was asked to work today and don't normally work weekday mornings so DH is getting a taste of my life with having to get 3 DC up, dressed, breakfast and out the door by half 8 for the school and nursery run

FlyMeToDunoon · 31/08/2009 09:09

Is the grass always greener?
Hey anyone see the Cake Wrecks thread hilarious!

claret1980 · 31/08/2009 09:25

Morning all!

Hope everyone is ok. I'm going to list my Zapp on Ebay tonight. Its taking up space and I don't use it. We haven't got a car at the moment so we have 3 car seats in the house as well.

I have cleared out the shoes cupboard and have listed loads to start tonight. Thank goodness it is free listing till the end of today.

carrielou2007 · 31/08/2009 09:29

Morning all.

I love working though I'm very lucky because actually I love my job. Now I've cut down to three (longish) days I have my sanity back. I'm not sure I will say the same when I am on my own and working with two!! Had to go back full time when dd was only 5 months and have sworn no way this time! If dd's dad and I were together and I knew we could pay all the bills I would not hesitate in stopping work until splodge at school.

One of the other girls my CM looks after is no longer going there as her mum split up with partner a few months back and now is moving in with her new chap who is 'on the sick' so she is giving up work as they get rent etc paid. Makes my blood boil but that's a whole other topic!!!

maxybrown · 31/08/2009 09:54

morning.....very rough night here. DH and I stayed up til early hours for some reason....then DS woke up, he's not 100% so been up all night....yawn!

BexieID · 31/08/2009 10:22

I'm watching that skate hmg, but think it'll be too heavy and DP did announce that he don't like prams with small wheels at front, big at back, lol.

nicola, i'll queeze Tom in somehow .

FMTD, if you don't mind fetching it and packing i'll put a bid on.

5inthebed · 31/08/2009 10:38

I've just thought Maxy, I could always do a bank transfer like I did with the Mutsy if you wanted. Saves you having to get it out of paypal.

Bexie, would you not want the SC Linear sleepover off Bexie? I'm happy to let it go to you if you wear really after it. It has wheels that are all the same size, strong and sturdy. But it is blue, so you'd have to be having a boy!

My MIL is away for the week on holiday, so I've got to go feed her dog all week, and DH is stopping there overnight to keep the dog and the african grey company. The dog is really old, she is 17, so moving her here for the week would be too much for her.

nicolamumof3 · 31/08/2009 10:39

i worked pt from having tom right up until April, i don't want to work anymore. i found it increasingly hard once i'd had luka to run house and three kids and work three full days. i was knackered and v.stressed. i wouldn't mind a little cleaning job or something to get some money for xmas and bits and pieces tho.

maxybrown · 31/08/2009 10:41

ooh yes 5in that would be nice, thank you!

Nicola, I have just been on preloved scouring pushchairs hehehehe....and came across advert for micralite.....def your seller. I have dealt with her before on preloved when she asked for something for her friend. They seem very young and a bit unreliable it has to be said but I have her email and I THINK her phone number too!!

5inthebed · 31/08/2009 10:49

I worked part time from having ds3 as well, and since I was made redundant last year, I never bothered looking for a new job. Having three kids is definitely hard work, I couldn't imagine working nd looking after them. Plus I've got no childcare and wouldn't be able to afford childcare. I don't miss working at all!

nicolamumof3 · 31/08/2009 10:53

i don't either 5in, it was nice once i was at work to sit down without the constant 'mummy, mummy' but it was too stressful in general and i never got to see Terry as i worked on his days off. he just has to work harder now bless him!! But i think he prefers me being at home.

Maxy thats interesting is there pics on the preloved ad tho? im just about giving up. got a fabric sample coming from chunkle munkle so may have nice footmuff made with my paypal funds instead!!

i must admit i cannot wait to get back into school routine. Tom goes back Friday. Tate on Monday (his first afternoon session) then my lukey starts on Tuesday i hope he doesn't bite anyone!!!

oh maxy btw luka's got his boden dungies on today as it was cold this morning, they are gorgeous, poppers are a pain, do the grey ones have leg poppers? i might order another pair as they are just so soft and cosy, he's got straps on tightest and they just about right lenght wise, he looks so cute with his little kswiss trainers on with them!!

5inthebed · 31/08/2009 11:00

I can't wait for the boys to go back to school. DS2 is going back staggered for two weeks, which will be a bit of a pain, but will be full time on the third week (providing he copes with it all). I am so nervous about him starting reception. Thats when they are more "with it". What if he gets bullied?

maxybrown · 31/08/2009 11:02

I don't miss work either....miss the money though!! But all of my money would have literally just paid for DS to be at nursery anyway.

Just a catalogue pic Nicola. Wouldn't surprise me if you don't hear from her as she has it on preloved for £100 so prob bit peeved at what it went for!!

Ah, well I just got the brown ones for James, they seem lovely but not tried them on him yet. I wish they hadn't put poppers on - no the grey ones I had off you didn't have poppers which was much better. Why do they think it is easier to do poppers between legs on a wriggling toddler than it is do wizz them on and fasten 2 straps I got him reversible baggies and they are lovely but HUGE!!!

maxybrown · 31/08/2009 11:06

Ah, don't worry 5in, I bet he will be fine.....he'll end up with some protective friends I'll bet. I know from experience they can still be little so and so's at that age even, but generally my experience has always been good.
