I prefer the vibe to the sport. Plus you can buy the peanut for the vibe, which is the carrycot

nicolamumof3 · 29/08/2009 08:52

Whats the difference between that and the cocoon then is it a proper carrycot? they just look more complicated to me, and bigger, but the second seat looks tiny?

Sun shining here, im off to my mums for the day.

Nothing from ebay seller gggrrr, im starting to think i won't get it now.

5inthebed · 29/08/2009 08:55

Its a proper carrycot. Looks lovey.

Its sunny here, but really windy. Taking DS2 to a birthday party today and my mam is having the other two for the day, so a lovely relaxing-ish day for me!

Hope the seller gets back to you today.

nicolamumof3 · 29/08/2009 08:57

me too, but you know what im like, im already going off the idea, tho its a fab bargain if it is a 'used once' 09 one.

Have a lovely day! hope ds2 enjoys the party.

5inthebed · 29/08/2009 09:09

Oh he will do. Its his little friend from his SN school, and they are best mates. Well as best of mates as autistic kids can be .I'm dreading him going to school and realising he isn't going to school with her anymore

Disenchanted3 · 29/08/2009 09:29

I'd love it SK but can't justify it!

I use the MB all the time and if DS gets tired he it on the front so don't need it.

unless you'd swap for this? about 2 weeks old, bought from BNIB, only used about twice! with raincover

Disenchanted3 · 29/08/2009 09:30

Just read the thread about Trinity Rhinos DH, made me feel ill So scary and tragic, that poor woman.

sweetkitty · 29/08/2009 09:48

Dis - I am trying to get rid of prams not buy more lol

I think the Vibe is hugely overpriced as well, I mean it's a Sport with a few adjustments, would love one but don't know, have looked at a Nipper 360 double, would love to have the baby facing me though but it's got to be something thats easy to get in and out the car and has air tyres need big tyres on a double that rules out a Mac double really.

DD3 will be 22 months when DB4 comes along so going to need one, I did love the sport but it was a bit of a pain at times with the fold but then again which double isn't. I am so getting funky buggysnuggles though whatever I get lol, oh also the nipper is quite reclined isn't it? oops you know DD3 she likes to hang out the pram, detests being sat back with a passion. M&P should do a double Luna as thats jsut so her pram and I could get a carrycot for the other side

just posted on TR thread too, very very sad

1legmummy · 29/08/2009 13:42

nicola if you get the Micralite and hate it I am still after one x

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/08/2009 16:25

Anyone live near Bridlington?

5inthebed · 29/08/2009 16:28

I don't even know where Bridlington is

So very sad about TR's DH

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/08/2009 16:32

Yorkshire the listing says.
It's a micralite collect only and at £11.54 with 20 mins to run.
TR's DH is shocking.

5inthebed · 29/08/2009 16:42

Live nowhere near there. It'll be a bargain though!

nicolamumof3 · 29/08/2009 18:34

what did it go for?!! i was watching that too.

no word from my micralite seller...its like the blooming first wheels all over again. i can't believe people don't check or communicate when they know an item is ending on ebay?

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/08/2009 18:44

It went for around £26-28 or something.

nicolamumof3 · 29/08/2009 18:46

yep just saw £28 good price. mine is supposedly 'used once' fingers crossed!!

carrielou2007 · 29/08/2009 18:51

Evening all.

Just bought a bug cam footmuff for good price being summer .

People do fib like crazy on ebay don't they? Moses basket seller said approx 6 months old rather than used for 6 months of two babies for three months each as it was the very same one I had for dd 2.8 years ago! There was no pics. Spotless though and included the stand for a fiver and cost of a new mattress I don't mind!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/08/2009 19:06

Hope the seller comes through Nicola.
Ebay tends to bring out the 'creative' writing doesn't it.
I sigh over some listings where they are obviously very new to it and are really trying it on.

largeginandtonic · 29/08/2009 19:24

Hi ladies

I have a question, i have a bug Gecko and bought adaptors for the maxi cosi in John Lewis the other day BUT they don't seem to fit.

Do the cameleon adaptors fit the gecko?

Thank you

1legmummy · 29/08/2009 19:34

I got the £28.00 Micralite!!!!! will let you know what its like.

Hopefully thats me sorted, I have fought with my Mutsy today and cleaned it all ready for selling. What would you say a fair price would be?

xx

nicolamumof3 · 29/08/2009 19:43

well done 1leg can i have dibs please if its not for you? are they letting you arrange courier then?

1legmummy · 29/08/2009 19:54

Yes, I saw it last week and asked after I missed out on the red one with coseytoes and raincover for £30.00 but it now!!

Does mean I cant get the Maclaren now.

Hope you get yours Nicola, but if I cant open it etc I will give you first offer.

nicolamumof3 · 29/08/2009 19:58

Thank you 1leg

i found my toro quite stiff to push down on and i believe its same chassis not as easy to flick open as a mac, can't you get both to compare? i really think the xt's are fab for hols but not had a micralite either so im a bit biased to macs

5inthebed · 29/08/2009 20:05

1LM, mutsys sell for about £100+ on Ebay, they do quite well

Hope your micralite seller gets in touch Nicola!

nicolamumof3 · 29/08/2009 20:07
