I've seen a car seat that clips straight onto a frame - what make is it?

I've seen people lift a frame straight out of the boot, unfold it one handed and then clip the car seat directly onto the frame.

What brand is it?

Maxicosi fit onto mothercare pram systems - we had a MyChoice, there's probably a newer model now - without adapters. There are lots out there.

But yeah, not ideal to leave babies in a seat shaped carseat for long, it's better to shuffle them into a pram so they can lie flat or (my preference) tuck them into a stretchy wrap so they're snuggled up to mum or dad.

The Jane Lie flat transporter is extremly easy to clip into the car and just as easy to unclip .

As others have said, maxi cosi car seats fit onto a lot of frames, I have an iCandy cherry, for mine you had to purchase car seat adaptors, basically two bits of plastic that clipped onto the frame where it would normally clip the seat or pram top onto it, then the maxi cosi clips onto that. They aren't very expensive (think mine were an extra £20) and you can easily take them off to interchange between car seat or pram top/ buggy seat.

Go have a wander round John Lewis or mother care looking at the prams/buggies, most with a separate seat and frame units will take a car seat, and unless they make their own car seat, seems the maxi cosi is the one most manufacturers make their frames compatible with.
