Help me find a pushchair! I WANT the Uppababy Vista but out of our price range.....

So, this is my criteria:

-Max £500 preferably including maxi cosi cabriofix but not essential

-Rear and forward facing

-Able to have a buggy board for dd

-Easy to steer/put up/put down. I have a type of muscular dystrophy so am pretty weak and get painful wrists

-Doesn't matter how compact it is as long as it fits in a normal boot, never use public transport etc

I think that's it! Any suggestions gratefully received :)

The uppababy website has prices for the cruz (although i guess maybe different showrooms etc may have competitive prices) and it says £374.99 for the pushchair and then the carrycot is an additional £124.99.

No idea about the versa. The mutsy evo that tiggy recommended looks great tho (i have my own pram dilemma!)

The Versa should be £425 with EVA wheels. It's not confirmed though, nor is the price for GT wheels but I suspect around £500-550? That is just for the pushchair ie no carrycot though.

The Mutsy Evo is a top end pushchair for a low end price. I had one for about a month and thought it was great quality. It worked really well, folded neatly, the seat lies flat and goes upright. Plus the carrycot is included in the price. It ticked a lot of boxes for me - more than most pushchairs.

Right I think I will go for the mutsy evo. I think it's a price dp will be happy with and my lovely friend is lending us her car seat Smile

Do you think I'll need the carry cot? I see you can buy the bits separately.

The Mutsy Evo comes as a package with the carrycot included. You can't just buy the pushchair on its own.

Tiggywunkle · 09/06/2012 12:57

You can use the seat unit from birth but the carrycot is lovely and does flatten down for storage.

SpottyTeacakes · 09/06/2012 13:47

I've seen a website where you can buy all the bits individually £173 for the chassis and £96 for the seat, something like that Confused

You are right :o Discount Baby do indeed sell all the parts seperately - I was told they wouldn't be doing this although I suggest not everyone would want a carrycot. So it's great if you can just buy the seat and chassis. Well done!

Tiggywunkle · 09/06/2012 14:53

Sorry that should have been Discount Baby Equipment.

SpottyTeacakes · 09/06/2012 15:33

I think I will skip the carry cot and spend the money on a nice cosy toes and buggy board Grin oh and a cup holder for all the coffee I'll need!

This is probably a stupid question, but... is the Musty Evo the same as the Graco Evo???

Tiggywunkle · 09/06/2012 16:33

No it's definitely not :)

Safmellow · 09/06/2012 19:11

Ha ha I wondered that too :)

Mutsy Evo
Graco Evo
