yes they are nice with the coloured hoods aren't they. really good idea. I loved my black/lime one for the sake it didn't have a light hood.

but am loving the majesty one i've got now must admit. none of the new colours really grabbed me so i went for the older one!!

5inthebed · 11/01/2011 21:54

Where are the new colours then?

Looking for liner for yellow superlite. Should I get yellow or black? Thinking black would be better. But then it would look like a bumble bee Grin

nicolamumof3 · 11/01/2011 22:02

it would look lovely!! glad you're getting it!

volo 2011 colours

basl · 11/01/2011 22:05

Bizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 5in i would go for black or would i Hmm
I so wish Daniel would love his pushchair. Went out with mum today into town and never even considered it till my mum looked in horror as if i was going to have a fit thinking i had forgot it lol.
He was really good i have to say but i want him to have a wee push in his pram. Sad

Oh now i do like the black as i love bright green and that would look very fetching on the black. Evan Olivia has let me down by wanting her scooter everywhere now Grin

well he's a good little walker then eh? bless him. My boys enjoy the novelty of it for a while but always come back to their buggy in that year before school!

I can't believe my lucky luka will be at school in 8m Shock

i will need the buggy to keep me up in the next few months. oh and to put my shopping in of course!!

basl · 11/01/2011 22:29

Well i know the shopping. Lots of my friends have those trolley things Grin I wonder if a little buggy would interest daniel more Hmm Nicola he wants me to carry him tho so its not really that he is a good walker as such just never liked being plucked in Grin

I know its amazing how it all zooms away from you. My sister has a 7month old baby to child mind and me and mum went to visit her today. The baby is sooooo cute and cuddly but i have forgotten everything. She was feeding and talking about when they go for a nap at 7months and i really can't remember any of it. Daniel was so loving the wee boy and gave him his soother when crying and gently stoked his head and talked like a baby. Very funny actually to watch.
Ok i am going to get the black volo !!

nicolamumof3 · 12/01/2011 09:31

lol basl you are funny!

I just asked luka where the baby was..'is it in mummy's tummy?' 'no its already here' he says, so i don't know where he thinks it is lol!!

luka really loves his volo, but he would sit in the nipper fine too. He def still likes his pushchairs and that suits us both tbh. I certainly couldn't carry!!

Superlite is here! It is lovely. Just need help on the seat part. Is there only two positions, and which one is upright and which one is reclined?

Also, feels smaller than the fastfold, which is great.

nicolamumof3 · 13/01/2011 11:27

yes two postions. should be black handle on the back you push up or down to get upright, not that much difference.

instructions

cannot get motivated as dh off this morning but gone to bed as he's not well. haven't done a think really Blush

nicolamumof3 · 13/01/2011 11:28

do you like the yellow hood? i heart my superlite can't wait to use it again, lovely with black frame isn't it. have you got liner or footmuff?

5inthebed · 13/01/2011 11:32

Thanks for that Nicola, didn't think to look on the website Blush. Might want the blue hood off your friend, did you find out the price?

nicolamumof3 · 13/01/2011 11:33

5inthebed · 13/01/2011 11:39

Basl's thread

Will have a nosey in a minute Basl.

Nicola, I'm very interested in the blue hood. Do you think you want the yellow one? What if you pay for blue one and get your friend to post it to me, and I'll post yellow one to you when I get blue one? Seems easier than doing two payments?

nicolamumof3 · 13/01/2011 18:38

5in im going to be good and leave the yellow hood. as i can't even use it with the carrycot afterall, so be a year realistically til i use it!! I would love a yellow but i'll wait im trying to be good and sensible plus we just booked our holiday!

here its only a week away to cornwall May half term but will be lovely pre baby break. Im trying to be frugal atm, feel guilty at spending £100 on boden i don't need so sending majority back Blush

basl will look at your thread now hunnie x

maxybrown · 13/01/2011 18:44

waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I feel homesicj now Sad ah boscastle is lovely - fab fab fab cream teas there!

nicolamumof3 · 13/01/2011 18:53

i love that part of cornwall is so lovely isn't it maxy? is this where you lived?

When you going to get your break away?

5inthebed · 13/01/2011 19:05

Why can't you use the carrycot on it Nicola?

Holiday looks lovely Nicola. Doubt we will have a holiday this year, but next year we are hoping to go to Disneyland Paris.

maxybrown · 13/01/2011 19:19

no, I lived in Plymouth and near Dartmouth but know cornwall reasonably well too. We actually had the cream tea in Boscastle on our honeymoon Grin

We were meant to go weekend before Christmas but changed it - and managed to get us in Feb half term - fabby! So go the mon tues night think 21st Feb or something - fingers cfrossed for no snow lol!

I think she means can't use the hood on the carrycot 5in Grin

nicolamumof3 · 13/01/2011 20:13

Meant cant use hood when carry cot on 5in Smile sorry wasn't v clear there!!

nicolamumof3 · 13/01/2011 20:17

I'd love to go Disneyland too but we worked out better value to go to Florida but that would be a few years off for us. Just wanted something to look forward to and give the boys a change scene before baby. Toms hoping to go away with school last week of term 18th july going to be busy time

5inthebed · 13/01/2011 20:24

Oops Blush. It's been a long day.

I would love to go to the big one in America, but seeming as DS2 has never flown and is very noise sensitive, I doubt he would be able to manage such a long time in a plane.
