When does the lovely Maxy get back from her holiday?

nicolamumof3 · 21/08/2010 21:15

mac doubles are okish til they get older, i had a triumph when tate was about 2.5yr and luka a year, was a bugger to push she'd be ok with one probably to start but i'd stillsay double nipper, she should be ok with p&t too as little one should fit fine in doubles newborn mode.

5inthebed · 21/08/2010 21:19

YEah I was thinking double nipper but not sure it would it in her car. Does p&t fold smaller than double nipper?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 21/08/2010 21:28

mmmh can't remember how my p&t folded, you need dunoon on she has both atm!

going to ring mothercare tomorrow and ask them why del so long on micralite, im away for w/end on thursday so need to have it before then!!

BexieID · 21/08/2010 22:08

Have Mothercare got Superlites now then? Was gonna get Bhannaes, but really wanted one BN pram for Erin, iykwim.

nicolamumof3 · 21/08/2010 22:14

yes they have bex so £120 del! not as good as the kiddicare deal but thats over now Sad

BexieID · 21/08/2010 22:32

Well Bhannaes is cheaper for just the blue hood/liner, and she does have black as well. Yes, Kiddicare offer was better, but the didn't have the black one, although was tempted to get red.

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/08/2010 22:52

Hey 5in. I haven't folded the Nipper properly since I got it. But it seems to be bulkier around the footwell. The P&T folds pretty flat and is of course, narrower. You have to take doubles seat off to fold on the e3 and sport but think Vibe folds as one. More expensive of course.
I reckon P&T is best bet.

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/08/2010 22:56

kiddicare offer still on? This was my deal. It includes the footmuff which I wold reckon to either sell bringing cost down or I might offer it to SIL for her newborn.

nicolamumof3 · 21/08/2010 22:57

They were £125 the other day with footmuff.

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/08/2010 23:03

Aaaaaaargh!

Be calm, be calm, be calm. I still love mine, it's ok.

nicolamumof3 · 21/08/2010 23:05

thats right you can't worry about that now. think i will order with blue hood. dh hates them! i just showed him and said yellow or blue, he said don't get one of those ugly things just get a nipper you know they are best. he's right, but i have to get this micralite lust out of me somehow Grin

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/08/2010 23:13

Yay! Try one.
Oh and tell me to 'go to bed fgs woman'
Grin

nicolamumof3 · 21/08/2010 23:14

yep go to bed!!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/08/2010 23:16

Night.

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/08/2010 08:25

Morning all.
I am off to see the latest addition to the family today. New baby nephew.
Then will need to start thinking about packing for holiday in Scotland.

Have a good one.

nicolamumof3 · 22/08/2010 08:28

oh lovely, enjoy it!
watching your auctions dunoon, hope they do well for you, nipper doing well!

i've given myself a virtual slap over superlite, i just can't see it being as snuggly and cosy as a nipper in the cold winter we are supposed to have, so thats that. No superlite.

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/08/2010 08:33

Oh Sad but ys actually I do have to admit I had forgotten about the warmth aspect. The mesh seat isn't going to be much use in the winter. Hence my getting a liner. Tried Kaiser on it yesterday and would be ok.
Nipper has already got up to more than I paid for it. P&T has 33 watchers.
DP goes mad when I list at 99p and we have long wrangles about covering cots versus encouraging bids.
I hope you have a lovely day.

nicolamumof3 · 22/08/2010 09:12

oh dh is the same about 99p auctions with that many watchers should do fine hunnie, how much do you need to make on it to profit? Im guessing anything over £75 would be good for time/effort? as you're posting should do more than that, good luck!

I can see me using the nipper alot when it comes. i struggle with xt when tate is holding onto the side can feel it pulling my back.

basl · 22/08/2010 10:13

Nicola i am liking these little conversations you are having in your head. Superlite or not or xt or nipper. Yeah love the superlite but not so cozy so i will keep nipper but xt so stylish. I would like a new nipper but want the blue superlite. Lol

That is just like me!!! I have been looking at the black and kiwi bjc metro as i thought it would look nice with my retro liner i have. So my conversation goes like; this. I don't need the classic but it will be great in the winter and my long walk down to toddlers on a Friday. It has so much room but i wonder if a nipper as grown in size since the last one i tried. I fancy an xt now as nic always likes those but i do like the superlite too. Oh and then theres the volo that would be great for hols but i have the bjcm and thats great but like the black again but i have the nice blue spot footmuff but want be out in winter with that as i would use the classic. OMG it is exhausting isn't it. lol

Well we are off into town to get my sister some of that spa treatment iron supplements as she is struggling a wee bit with the ones they have given her and i love the liquid sachets of the spa ones. They don't cause constipation.

Her scar is very neat indeed but she looks dreadful. Mum and I had a lovely meal out and left her feeling a bit more settled.

Yoooo hooooo Maxy are you around????? I am calling yyyyyyyyyyyyyyooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooooo

nicolamumof3 · 22/08/2010 10:18

yes where is maxy?! i miss her.

basl you are soooo like me its scary! we will have a right old time in January, just the pick up we are going to need after xmas eh? Cannot wait. I can get the plane up with dunoon Smile

well boys are washed and dressed and we are hopefully (i say that as never quite sure of engineering works) a train journey into Tunbridge Wells. Going down old high st. into pantiles for a wander round then prob get bus up from sainsbury's into shopping centre. Must remember to get bday present for Tom's dad as tom away on hols with him tomorrow lucky thing.

V.warm and humid here today. Just getting out the house and getting on does me the world of good just being outdoors.

Glad to hear your sister is doing better basl. Im wavering now on superlite...tis just so funky Confused

5inthebed · 22/08/2010 10:30

Nicola what are you like?!

I prefer superlite, but can't aford atm so getting my lovely nipper. I'll definitely need a footmuff for it for winter and was thinking of getting a nipper one but not sure el fatto would fit in it come winter.

Dunoon, I might be interested in the footmuff you got with superlite. Is it a universal one or just for superlite?

I am thinking of buying DS3 this coat but not sure what size to get as never bought Boden before. He is 2 in November so would 2-3 be a better size do you think. Or are Boden large and should I get 18-24? Also, what colout? I like the blue but not the green lining. I am swaying towards the red more.

5inthebed · 22/08/2010 10:30

Hello lovely ladies!

5in, not well up on doubles but I always think better to buy good brand second hand than a cheapy bn.

basl, when is your party? I'm back at work in oct so will have to book days off in advance.

We are off to menorca on wed for 2 weeks! Grandma comin ironing tomorrow.

How small does the nipper fold? Getting a new car when I go back to work and fancy a yaris but the boot is small.
