Hi all,
Happy birthday to my DS:)
Been busy day so far.Grin
5in, buy bigger size the teddy coat comes very small, well it was 2 years ago.

FMTD, congratulations. New babyWink will make you broody:)

Geek, i bet you are ready for hols, for this british weather.

Maxy probably got loads washing to do, and catching up with family.

Nicola, good you decided not get Micralite, i find them more summer buggy than winter. iyswim.Wink You will be better with Nipper.

Basl, i definately up to meet up and birthday bash.Grin I cant wait. So exciting.

GeekOfTheWeek · 22/08/2010 12:14

Hi diva, perhaps maxy, you and icould travel to basls party together?

Maxy, how do you keep winning these prizes??EnvyGrin

nicolamumof3 · 22/08/2010 14:17

afternoon all, im exhausted after my trip out. Stressful really trying to browse shops with three boys. But we're home now and its raining. debating brining washing in or leaving in case sun comes out again? lifes tough eh?

teddy top is more a thick fleecy jacket than a coat be ok with a jumper underneath and footmuff so i'd def get 2-3yr i think? if you got red pushchair i'd get the grey one or the biscuit. They are all nice. Now you've tempted me too!

i think superlite deffo summer buggy, but then the hood is crap sunshade so not sure what it is tbh!!

basl · 22/08/2010 16:46

Happy birthday to Divas DS hope you had a great day Grin.

Geek my birthday is in December but think the party will be January as not so busy time. Glad you will come. xxx

nicolamumof3 · 22/08/2010 17:05

hiya basl..how's your sis doing?

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/08/2010 17:56

New nephew is lovely. He slept most of the time. Woke up for a feed and said hello and then fell asleep on my shoulder and I didn't want to come home. Aw. Sil is having both footmuffs so that solves that.

nicolamumof3 · 22/08/2010 18:20

oh thats lovely i do love a newborn cuddle! p&t doing ok when i last looked Wink

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/08/2010 18:48

Just had to try and explain to DP why an item can have more than one bid and price has not changed. Brain tired now.

5inthebed · 22/08/2010 19:32

How old is he Dunoon? Your nephew not your DP Grin

Been lovely and sunny here today. DOne some gardening and the garden looks half decent now. Was going to blo the swimming pool up but the air thingys are huge so I'll need a foot pump or something. Also got a slide off freecycle so the kids enjoyed playing on that all afternoon.

How is your sister doing Basl?

Anyone want piece let me knowGrin

Geek, im with you about going to Basl`s party. I think Maxy will come Wink

5inthebed · 22/08/2010 21:35

Oh Diva that is fab! I am going to make that cake for DS3s birthday in November, I was showing my mam a photo of it today.

Was th butter icing not too much? I was thinking of using jam instead as it might get too sickly.

I might give it a trial this weekend. oh oh oh, just had a thought, I culd do it for DH's 30th birthday at the weekend!

OP posts:
Divatheshopaholic · 22/08/2010 21:44

5in, i did not use any buttercream.
Dh dont eat butter or cheese, so i only used strawberry jam and thin sheet of rolled icing between sponges.
I used Nigella`s cupcake recipe instead as the original cake had loads of sugar in it.
If you would like i could send you the recipe, too.Grin

5in my DP has/had quite bad insomnia and he went to a herbalist. Herbalist used to make him up a mixture including the usual sleep inducing herbs but also ones specific to any other issues he was having at the time.
DP's problem is/was that he is a light sleeper and when he woke up in the night the adrenalin would kick in big time and so he was wide awake straight away.
He reports it's much better now.

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/08/2010 22:35

Not a chinese herbalist btw

5inthebed · 22/08/2010 22:35

Thanks Dunoon. I'm a light sleeper as well. Will try get to a herbalist some point soon, probably when I'm child free.
