nicolamumof3 · 18/09/2010 21:16

oh 5in huggles my lovely.

well i've had a pampered evening of wine, lovely dinner cooked by my wonderful mr chef and lots of vino. Bliss. oh and x factor.

just waiting for return of tommy who's been to wedding with his dad. He's off to relive the delights of chessington with terry tomorrow.

what i meant re. next sizing is i thought they didn't do single sizing in the younger boys? im pleased younger boys now goes 5-6yr!

5inthebed · 18/09/2010 21:25

Thats Dunoon and Nicola Smile

My frien has driven down to Chessington today and are probably on their way back now. Thats a serious journey for a day trip!

You know how I won the Ford cinema screening a few weeks ago? Well we also got a test drive with the new Ford Galaxy car. It is getting dropped off the end of the month for 5ish days, so we are going to use it to go on a nice family day out. Maybe Edinburgh zoo or something equally nice. Free full tank of petrol so going to use it to our benefit.

Do Net go to 5-6 in the younger stuff? Thats good to know as DS2 fits 5-6 stuff.

All my boys have had growth spurts over the summer. DS3 ready to go in 2-3 stuff, but trying to hang on until the nter before I spend a fortune on a new wardrobe. DS1 is in 9-10 yr stuff now!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 18/09/2010 21:39

wow you are going to have big strong boys to look after their mummy 5in thats nice. Yes im glad 5-6yrs in younger boys is good. as some older range too grown up/smart for Tate for playing in ok for going out stuff but more expensive in older range.

oh we have galaxy and dh seriously drools over the new ones he loves them. 5days is fab! Let us knwo what you think. Right im off to bed. Tommy in from wedding shattered. Been a busy week all round. Meeting my friend at pool tomorrow so taking tate and luka for swim with her boys who are 4yr and 16m.

5inthebed · 18/09/2010 21:51

Thanks Nicola Smile

I'm wathcing a film (Date Night) and think the actress looks a lot like you. Tina Fey.

We have a newsh car, Skoda Roomster, 59 Reg, so we won't be getting a new car any time soon. ooking forward to getting this though, as it is a 7 seater, has built in dvd with headphones and way out of our budget, so I can pretend to be posh for the weekend Wink

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 18/09/2010 21:55

can see a similarity yes! unfortunately not that groomed and gorgeous tho!

5inthebed · 18/09/2010 22:00

You are Nicola! You're a yummy mummy. Grin

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 18/09/2010 22:04

BexieID · 18/09/2010 22:34

The answer is: Tesco (where I work), Morrisons and then Asda.

I was hoping to goto Chessington at half term but mum seems adament we're all going to Legoland instead. Thats only 20 mins from mums but I wanted to go on the bubble works Sad

nicolamumof3 · 18/09/2010 22:37

i missed bubbleworks last time...missed alot last time Sad but terry and tom will have a great day im sure.

BexieID · 18/09/2010 22:42

Is it too early to be thinking of xmas for kids already? I've got a few bits stashed for Tom, mainly Disney Cars stuff as he's really into it atm. Wanted to get him a new garage. He has the FP racing ramps one. The only one I like is that really big FP one they no longer make, arghhh!

Erin will prob not get much seeing as it's her b/day 3 days before, but would feel mean if didn't get anything. I have got a BN mouse wheelybug I got from charity shop for £5, so that can be for b/day.

basl · 18/09/2010 22:42

5in could not resist any longer. I am presuming and i mean that as i am not reading you have had a bit of a time shall we say well i hope everything had gone ok. I may be talking complete pants but hey nothing new.

Girls my husband is a loon and i am just getting to grips with the fact it may not be me??? I did not want to chat on here because i did not want to be dooooor [if you life in scotland it means you are a sour faced cow } well nothing much pram stuff happening here other than i want a mountain buggy swift because my darling husband and i had an almighty fight in the street Blush because my adorable classic ripped a chunk out of our door. Daniel is never ever in a pram now Sad but i agree i need one for when he is ill or my long mega long walk to my sisters. Today i bought him a buzz ben and note book and we walked for about an hour to my sisters and he had drawn on half the book.

weird time in my life girls. hate i have nothing nice to say or uplifting or funny. Ihope you let me dip in and out so to speak. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

nicolamumof3 · 18/09/2010 22:47

basl as i hve said many a time and i think i speak for everyone here, we love you just the way you are....life is all ups and downs we share them together.

hows that gorgeous girlie of yours enjoying school? tate has just finished first week and was shattered today, he's full time as of monday, what shall i do with myself in the afternoons. if you see me on here please ignore as i should be getting on with something surely!

nicolamumof3 · 18/09/2010 22:49

bex never too early to plan for xmas i do it all year long! I have quite a few stocking bits stashed some trainers and clothes for tom. Im debating getting Tate a leapster. is he too young? i know others have nintendo's at five but i don't want him having that for a good couple of years or so. we have an old vtech vsmile and handheld version but thinking they may be too ancient now? the leapster said ages 4-9 so may last a bit longer?

BexieID · 18/09/2010 23:01

I know what you mean about Nintendos nicola. I have a DS but not played on it for ages. DP has a PSP and not played that for ages. We only had Wii on the other week so Tom could have a taster with the Cars game, but he's not that bothered. One friends boy has a Wii and DS. It's strange really as me and DP love our video games but rarely get chance to play now Sad.

Leapstar does look good. PIL have got some kind of games thing for Tom. It comes with a Thomas game, which narrows it down Hmm Grin

basl · 18/09/2010 23:47

okay ladies i hope you are sitting comfortable??? I have a story to tell ................

Well i fell out with my dh big time after he disapointed me and let me down so much. We have been to hell and back and i can not let go of the miss trust etc etc. My husbands best friend's mum died last week and we were all very close to her. She live next door to kenny's mum n dad all his life and very close to her. Now you may have your pre conceptions of my dh but we actually live a stone throw away from his dad. Reason being when i met kenny he was so scared his mum n dad could not cope without him as he paid all their bills etc etc. So i agreed to live in a house across the road. Best move i ever made. Liz the lady that died was so kinda and loved my Olivia at halloween and always gave her feel special. Even when kennys mum was hospitalized she looked in on dh dad and always looked in on us and asked if we needed from the local shop.

She died of cancer yet another lovely kind caring soul but i have had a reading recently from my sister and i feel they are happy and content but still miss very every min of my life xxx

nicolamumof3 · 19/09/2010 08:20

hugs basl, its so hard when these special people leave our lives. We are always here to chat whether happy or sad xx

brrr its cold here this mnorning i've actually put my heating on for half an hour to take the chill off.

5inthebed · 19/09/2010 13:00

Basl my lovely, you don't have to feel like you can't come on here and talk about anything other than prams! You're going through a hard time and need to vent somewhere.

I am ok now thanks, the funeral will be a bit tearful, but I am plodding along.

Kids are out, it's lovely and quiet here.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 19/09/2010 13:09

oooh how nice 5in. its quite quiet here actually. boys upstairs quietly watching dvd as tired from swimming. must take them up some lunch actually. Tom and Terry at Chessington, done all the big rides already!
