What a day, forgot I had dentist appt, remembered last night when brushing my teeth, then the family support worker came and I thought it was just next week she was soming, lol. I'd forget my head if it wasn't screwed on Grin.

Glad Tate had good day at school

Hope everythings ok with Basil.

FlyMeToDunoon · 14/09/2010 08:03

Lol! Happens to us all some days Bexie. I have to write everything down and even then it's all to easy to let things slip your mind. Forgot good friends b.Day yesterday even though it is on the calendar Blush
Ok Fifi is on, that means it's 15 mins to blast off [to school!]
Time to brush hair, get shoes and jackets on, load pushchair and do some chivvying.
Have a good one everybody Smile

Divatheshopaholic · 14/09/2010 08:43

Bexie, welcome to dizzy mum club. I often do that, probably too often. Im like brain dead person sometimes. I went party without present once. After party i drove back to the party child`s home with my present againGrinBlush
Watching Thomas now then we will go school.

nicolamumof3 · 14/09/2010 09:27

Morning all, well day 2 school run, and luka was in bed still! Lucikly terry doesn't go to work til 9am so went with tate by myself. He was fine i miss him already. Just had a sort out of boys shoes its silly the amount i have especially as two of them now in school and luka at nursery every afternoon so can't wear nice ones for that Sad

FlyMeToDunoon · 14/09/2010 11:19

Ordinary clothes get so much less use when they go to school don't they.
I don't bother getting DD2 changed when she comes in from school so she is only in her 'normal' clothes at the weekend.
Aah sitting down for my cuppa until 11.35 when it's off to nursery again for the pick up.

I have reserved the small slow cooker from Argos now as although the big one will be great for whole chickens and beef joints it's really too big for a normal evening meal for us. So I will suddenly have another two bits of kitchen equipment to store Yikes!

nicolamumof3 · 14/09/2010 11:22

bought some beef and braising steak yesterday that im going to do in slow cooker this week.mmmmmh can almost smell it already.

Well finally my navy nipper has arrived and im not even bothered to open it Shock such is the micralite lurve!

Also black xt sold! woohoo...new lounge carpet now!

FlyMeToDunoon · 14/09/2010 11:26

Oooooh but a new pram!

Nicola would you think I could use the superlite footmuff for DD3? I am swithering on buying another one since I gave mine to sil. Would you recommend as I want to keep her warm in winter and avoid using the raincover as much as possible.

Can't decide. I could just get her a nice long warm coat and she will have the liner to keep her bum warm and use raincover as necessary and save £45! [well coat would be some ££]
Hmmmmmmmmm?

BexieID · 14/09/2010 12:14

I need to buy some braising steak to make steak au poivre again. Making curly coconut pasta later, although would rather a nap, but Erin needs a few meals making. Doing shepherds pie tomorrow for us all for dinner.

Need to change Erin and go fetch Tom.

nicolamumof3 · 14/09/2010 12:34

um i wouldn't dunoon luka just fits in but i tried him without coat and boots. Not sure he will fit with these come the winter? i'd get her some nice warm fleecy trousers from jojo or the waterproof ones?

www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sp+Rainwear-Accessories-Reversible-Fleece-Pull-Ups+A8512

buy a size up and roll up then you might get two winters out of them, think they are fab for £14 which has reminded me to order some more for tate!

FlyMeToDunoon · 14/09/2010 14:18

Ok then.
So with the trousers do you treat them as outerwear and put over normal clothes or just wear all the time?
I have my doubts as to whether I would be bothered getting her in and out of them say, after nursery.
And then once on would your boys be ok in drizzle in the pushchair,.... and heavier rain?

I fancy a beef casserole in the slow cooker. Have ordered a recipe book off amazon.

nicolamumof3 · 14/09/2010 14:31

in the snow last year the boys wore them over their normal trousers. they are so easy to pop on/off they really kept them cosy, dry as a bone too. in heavy rain i just use waterproof dungarees and cagoule with wellies. But sat back in nipper luka stays quite dry anyway i suppose. They are really really worth getting. you can wear them as normal trousers too with nothing underneath. im def ordering some in 4-5yr for tate as luka will have his 3-4yr this year.

nicolamumof3 · 14/09/2010 16:38

navy nipper is out of the box!

GeekOfTheWeek · 14/09/2010 18:33

Its lovely nic. A thing of beauty!!!

Where did you get the waterproof dungarees that you mentioned?

nicolamumof3 · 14/09/2010 19:42

www.littletreckers.co.uk really fab didn't cost much either, i bought huge sizes so they'll last a good couple years!

nicolamumof3 · 14/09/2010 19:46

these i bought in laurel

5inthebed · 14/09/2010 20:54
