Glad it went well Nicola.

What colour did you get?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 01/09/2010 17:24

blue but couldn't afford liner yet, so will get that end of week!

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/09/2010 17:38

Glad your back and it all went smoothly Nicola. I will be selling my black liner if you are interested.
Just off [very late] to make the dinner. I was doing an online supermarket shop and computer so slow. Back on later.

nicolamumof3 · 01/09/2010 17:48

Thank you dunoon, i might be depends on price, as i really want blue, but im thinking will need some kind of liner? do they slip? thats my pet peev with liners Smile

5inthebed · 01/09/2010 17:51

I love the blue one.

Micralite liners usually attach on to the top with velcro so shouldn't slip.

I'm being lazy tonight and kids having fish fingers chips and beans. I just don't have any energy today!

nicolamumof3 · 01/09/2010 17:56

Evening all Smile

Glad you are home and at last it is all over Nicola, sending healing vibes to you, what a lovely dh you have and yay on a new purchase to speed your recovery Grin

Hi Sal, how is that baby of yours, growing growing growing I bet!!

Lillypie so lovely for you having your mum here and in this lovely weather, will she believe you when you say it has been raining pretty much solid for the last month!!

Dd back at playgroup today and really acting up for my CM, she said 'who's buggy is that' when she picked her up with ds in the black xt as she had never seen it before

Busy busy busy at work still, so much for going to work for a rest, I do love it but my goodness I so miss my dc Sad I have a HUGE pile of ironing so wade through, best get started I supose...

nicolamumof3 · 01/09/2010 21:17

i must admit both luka and tate were comfy in fastfold too...going to see if i have pics.

nicolamumof3 · 01/09/2010 21:20

they look a bit squashed but they aren't think the seat shape is an illusion tbh!

5inthebed · 01/09/2010 21:52

Grin Carrie. You need to get her trained.

All this talk of micralites is making me Envy. It must be (one of) my favourite prams!

I need to take DS3 for some new shoes tomorrow , but might take him next week when the other two are back at school.

OP posts:
basl · 02/09/2010 01:25

Nicola my oh my that was quick then Shock glad it all went well and what a dh you have. I was drooling at the bacon buttie and then the roast. Grin

I am looking forward to the microlite review tomorrow.

Carrie you do sound busy my dear and it is hard juggling work and kids. I suppose i should be grateful i can work at night as i don't have to have them minded but i think it does them good.
Does your dd not know your system yet? I must admit it took me a while but i know it now Grin

School shoes!!! don't get me started 5in Hmm Olivia's £46.00 ones are scuffed to bits at the front now. Polish up but have chunks missing.

Anyway of to bed now after a full night on the phones at work. Well and truly into the swing of things again. xxxx

nicolamumof3 · 02/09/2010 03:58

Cannot sleep obviously too much rest today then my ind races with all the jobs i have to do random stuff comes into my head. So i got up loaded washing, cleaned toilets as you do! and emptied the dishwasher. Wrote out address labels for parcels so at least a bit of a head start in morning, and dh will be pleased he doesn't have to do dishwasher. Sore and achy still, will havea quiet day of pottering about as im expect del of micralite and dh has parcel coming too. He has treated himself to a grenadier fire starter! he's v.excited and wants fire on tomorrow night! Basically like a fan i think that you plug in then goes in fire so you need no kindling or trying to get fire going will be brilliant for me as we rely on open fire in winter to heat this big house downstairs.

5in i'd leave ds3 shoes til next week if you can. I want the wibble from clarks for luka tho not a fan of clarks i just love this style and had for two last autumn's for him now! Im taking Tate next week for school shoes, that is the problem basl once they are at school they do get scuffed and worn out v.much so before they grow out. new pair in half term, but once you've had her measured you can always try ebay or clarks factory shop? i think its so important they have comfy well fitting school shoes as they are in them long time through the day. Right enough of my ramblings!

nicolamumof3 · 02/09/2010 06:27

feel tired and sick now but heard luka get up half an hour ago and get into our bed. so no sneaking back up for me. i maybe able to sneak an hour on the sofa now..was going to do my ironing but that can wait a bit!

sal1309 · 02/09/2010 08:20

morning all

nicola hope you feel better soon and manage to get some sleep.

carrie dd is getting big cant believe she is nearly 6 months got her weighed last week and she is 14lb. Hows your ds getting on?

5inthebed · 02/09/2010 09:57

I bought DS1+2 Skecher school shoes off Ebay. There is a seller that sell them a lot cheaper than they would be in the shops and they last longer than Clarks shoes.

Not sure what we are doing today, maybe a walk to the nature park and park.

OP posts:
basl · 02/09/2010 14:03

Is that microlite not here yet??? I am in need of a review. lol

Sal you ok my luv?? It is great to get a bit time to yourself especially when your super busy like you. Yeah you will see a difference when pre shcool starts up and get 5mins to yourself. I have always something to report but you know me i talk the biggest load of pants all the time and think i like the sound of my own voice Grin xxxxx

basl · 02/09/2010 14:40

Diva hellloooo, missed you!!! I am coming to manchester soon. Maybe in the next couple of weeks. Are you up for a visit???

Nicola would my retro spot footmuff look good on it Grin

nicolamumof3 · 02/09/2010 16:27

oh yes the retro spot would go well!

been out for a walk with it to pump up tyres at p.o. Its an awesome push and luka has masses of room in the footmuff. Because of the style of the seat i don't think a generic would fit so well, maybe a lightweight buggysnuggle time would? but my sheepskin didn't look right, and luka kept saying, take it off take it off..well as you can see the boys love it!

pics to follow...just uploading!
