Lol at your mad selling nicola. Don't know how you can be bothered. I hate ebaying and never can face it. It is so time consuming. What you been selling to make enough for a micralite ???

I am off to school dinners today. They double booked me yesterday so i am going today. Looking forward to seeing Olivia's face when she sees me in her school Grin

nicolamumof3 · 31/08/2010 11:26

oh bless thats nice, do you get to eat too?

i sold sheepskin liner, mac comfort pack...some shoes and clothes i can't remember what else as was a week or so ago Blush

basl · 31/08/2010 12:01

5inthebed · 31/08/2010 14:04

Have fun eating your school dinner Basl Grin

It's such a lovely day here today, was going to get paddling pool out for boys buy can't find the foot pump, and it is a beast of a pool to blow by mouth.

basl · 31/08/2010 14:11

Oh i am back now 5in, I had haggis neeps n tatties and it was lovely. Left with a tear in my eye silly moo that i am. Olivia was delighted to see me and looked so little in the big dinner hall. Picking her own meal and looking at me in disgust when i suggested she try some mash. Grin

She carried her tray over to the table and was looking all nervous as it was heavy. She did so well and even tried the mash after i pestered her but she was disappointed she never received a sticker for clearing her plate. I told her i would reward her for eating half of her mash when she clearly does not like it.

When it was time to go she begged me to stay and pleaded. She wasn't crying but her little pale face went all red and she looked a wee bit lost but then the lovely head teacher told her they were getting to play out in the big field and her new bezzy mate Rosie held her hand this time and the skipped off. I was really upset and how bloody stupid is that. My wee girl doing all these grown up stuff like paying her own lunch and carrying her heavy tray.

Ahh well home now with daniel son and he has got me back to reality with all his little ways lol Grin

Oh my 5in your going to keel over if you try blowing it up without the pump especially after all the decorating your going to be jiggered. Grin

nicolamumof3 · 31/08/2010 14:27

basl i've got a tear in my eye just reading that! this will be me in a couple of weeks.

Tate still asking to get in pushchair yet he's off to big school in two weeks, unbelievable isn't!

well had nice trip to park nice warm sunshine am exhausted now. Thinking alot about tomorrow. Stocked up on mags and terry is off rest of week so will be pamper time for me!

basl · 31/08/2010 14:42

Nicola i have been thinking about you too. You will be so relieved after all that ordeal you have had to put up with. So how long will it take? Are you in over night or a few days?

Tate will be fine nicola Grin he has a big brother as a role model where Olivia is the BIG sister iykwm. She is my little darling and going to take her to our local gift shop to pic a nice new purse for her dinner money for making me so proud. I am not one for buying for the sake of it but i think she so deserves it.

nicolamumof3 · 31/08/2010 15:00

yes she does and that is the ideal gift, do they have to pay as well bless them? Tates dinners are paid to office in advance if he has them. Tom has a swipe card at new secondary.

im just in for day patient. So im fine..i think!!

basl · 31/08/2010 16:34

Yes nicola you can pay at the office for a whole week but they wanted them to get used to it. Paying on their own. Lol she asked if she could use her primark gift card as she was not sure how to count. I said maybe they will sort her out with one at school so i will tell her about toms fancy swipe card. lol

5inthebed · 31/08/2010 19:52

Good uck for tomorrow Nicola, I hope it goes smoothly for you, it should :)

Bas, does Olivia have to pay for her dinner every day? At DS1's school I've got to pay the dinner money weekly into the office.

OP posts:
basl · 31/08/2010 19:58

hiya 5in, yeah they ask to get them in the way of it at first to have their own money and pay as they go. She has it in a purse and they come to the class to take it each day. I think it would be better all round to pay in advance as i think they said it would be refunded if they changed their minds and had packed lunch.

nicolamumof3 · 31/08/2010 20:04

personally i think thats a bit much for a 4yo they have enough to worry about little lambs Confused

anyways im on verge of ordering superlite..am having last minute in decision..blue or yellow..with or without linter..hmmmm.

5inthebed · 31/08/2010 20:06

Yeah I think it would be far too muh for them to do. Glad she is managing well with it though.

Blue and with liner

OP posts:
basl · 31/08/2010 20:33

ooh em blue i really love that colour as you know and did flyme not say she was not keen on liner.

Yes i think so to about the money. I am going to leave it this week but insist on paying for the week etc as she does get stressed about losing it etc.

Nicola you don't hang about when you want something. You are fab at selling stuff. I always think if i could only be bothered i would make such n such but never do. Grin

nicolamumof3 · 31/08/2010 20:37

well its the only way i can buy anything big tbh. As i don't work i can ask Terry for money for essentials for the boys, day trips, swimming etc. But certainly not for buggies! the only pushchairs he ever paid for was half of Tates first maclaren and half the phil n teds.

basl · 31/08/2010 20:45

Good on you then its a great way to rustle up some funds. I really should get my but in gear. Have you ordered it then??

nicolamumof3 · 31/08/2010 20:56

nope not yet Blush

basl · 31/08/2010 23:28

Good luck for tomorrow nicola. It will be over and done in no time. I will be thinking of you and look forward to having a wee blether when you get back home. xxx
