I really like it, love the maximalist style.

@cheapskatemum Ive only been in there a couple of times. It's lovely. But if I bumped into either of them in there it would really spoil my evening.

I hate both Knight and Joyce but that is a really gorgeous house, apart from the pale pink attic bedroom which I have a really visceral dislike for.

It is beyond belief she is (allegedly) still with that person. I read on her Substack “we” are moving to another part of Suffolk.

It's sold subject to contract' so the buyers haven't even exchanged yet. Meanwhile the house is the subject of her new interiors' book. I wonder if she thought she would have exchanged by the time the book came out.

I think they are the wrong size for the path, too big. I would replace with something smaller.

To be fair there are all the buses on the A23 and A3 as it sits pretty well in the junction - so the air on that terrace will be pretty polluted.

I'm deeply untrendy and love arty clutter (as opposed to the dusty and untidy clutter I live amid) so I really enjoyed looking through the photos. It's the sort of house and decor I would have myself if I had massive income and a couple of cleaners and I used to quite like some of India Knight's writing. 'The Shops' does come through quite strongly in this house! I also like the wildflower meadow with the wnaky meandering path through it. Stick a mis-matched grouping of wooden table and chairs at random points, and SO adorable!

I hadn't heard about the paedophile association though. God knows why not. I googled AFTER looking at the listing. Fucking hell. So now I feel like I need a curative brain bleach after having leafed through that listing appreciatively.

Regarding the ringing endorsements on IK's latest book, https://www.waterstones.com/book/home/india-knight/9780241757437, do these people simply overlook 'the mess' aspect of her home life? She's done a stellar job in burying her association and support of a convicted child sex offender as a seemingly trifling aspect of her giddy, carefully curated life of grifting and blogging for freebies. EJ's actions are not her responsibility but her decision to support them is.

I swing between thinking that IK might be a victim of coercion, and thinking that she’s so desperate for cock that she’d overlook anything. It’s one or the other I suppose.

I wonder about the “celebrity” reviewers too. If she wasn’t a part of his defence/ mitigation I could understand people thinking she shouldn’t be affected by his behaviours perhaps? But there’s been no expressions of remorse or concern for child victims of crimes like this.

Urgh she’s everywhere. I don’t understand this approach at all, these quotes just don’t make any sense when she has not put out anything public about Eric at all? Nothing “in evidence” there? Very disappointed with Mother Tongue magazine for featuring her, wonder if it will go the same way as the Cup of Jo article did - there seems to be more criticism of her in the US (where people are less scared of being cancelled by her stepdaddy I assume)

Well, I was given a copy of the book for my birthday last month by someone who knows I like interiors and (leaving aside the paedo partner) it's not very good- it mainly just says "have whatever you like in your home- it's your home" stretched out over 200 pages, which is a reasonable message but probably not worth £22. If you like this sort of stuff, Domestic Bliss by Rita Konig is a lot more informative and charming.

I guess IK took the have whatever you like thing way too far, having a husband in her home whose actions meant her daughter lived elsewhere.

Had no idea about her partner. Grim. House would take some dusting with all that stuff. The books on the coffee table are just odd, piles and piles of them. Has she run out of bookshelves or is it meant to be a stylish choice? Odd.

Pearl’s house is nicer.

When I first started reading India Knight before there was as a photo in the byline, I got her mixed up with India Hicks. 🙄

I do like the house but you'd have to have it fumigated with sage or holy water . And would deffo have to have bidet removed imagining his arse on it .
Why oh why in this cancel culture dies she still have a column in the Subday Times ? Beauty no less when all about her is ugly and nasty.
