Can I ask people's opinions on this kitchen? Currently getting the house ready to sell, looking for a perspective buyers pov

If you mean the overall layout rather than specific units etc. I would get rid of more stuff off the side, dress the shelves etc. for the photos.

Impossible to say from that perspective.

What is a perspective buyer?

Is there no extractor hood/fan? Shelf over the cooker and hob quite dangerous. I’d move those things.
Unusual layout with the washer next to the cooker.
Navy is nice maybe some bright accessories for a pop of colour?

I don't like that the washing machine and dishwasher aren't integrated.

Can see too much of the floor and not enough of the worktop etc from that picture. Bit cluttered around shelf area and 4 pictures not needed.

No wall units would bother me - I don't want to have to bend down to get absolutely everything. And I've had a kitchen before with open shelves and everything gets that sticky dusty grease on. I wouldn't consider it a dealbreaker from buying the house, but I'd be thinking of it as a house that should be priced as needing a complete kitchen refit.

Nice colours, lots of work surface = good, lack of wall cupboards possibly bad if there’s not enough storage. Not keen on the splash back and I can’t see the work surface from the weird angle low down photo.

I don’t think it looks cluttered but my kitchen is a clutter horror so I’m not one to talk.

My first count on any kitchen picture is are there either included, or space for: fridge, freezer (or fridge / freezer), dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer (in not a separate utility, which I presume there isn't as washing machine is there).
So already I think it is missing a tumble dryer and a dishwasher.

Looking at that kitchen, it also seems to be missing wall units, and an extractor above the hob ?

I agree. I'd prefer a separate utility and no washing machine in the kitchen area, particularly as it looks as though there's little storage from that photo. Where do you store your food? Is there a separate larder/pantry?

I think it depends on the size of the house you're selling. If it's a 2 bed terrace, the size is fine, generous in fact, but there shouldn't be any machines next to the oven, and it's been standard to have extractors (building regs, I think) since 2022.

If it's a 4 bed detached house, that's entirely different. In that sort of home I would expect a double, inbuilt oven plus grill (with inbuilt microwave being desirable), hob, 1.5 sink, DW (pref), full height F/F and upper cupboards.

It’s a terrible photo (too much floor). From what I can see it looks a decent enough size but I’d like to see if that’s actually the case.

and with the proviso the photo looks really low res so this might not be the case but it does give slightly “French chic’d my old laminate cabinet” vibes.

The thing is understandably you’re not going to change it as you are selling.

For me I would need a new kitchen. I would want fully integrated washing machine and dishwasher. Plus wall cabinets and cooker hood. So a complete refit.

She means a prospective buyer. If you look at the context of the sentence and remember that this isn't school, she isn't a child and you're not her teacher, it's quite easy to understand.

It looks like a good size but also looks like a cheap kitchen that i'd want to replace and reconfigure - no wall units, no cooker extractor, mismatching dishwasher and washing machine, the wine rack in the middle looks like it's been added to make the units fit, the wall shelves are not aligned and don't look like they'd be very useful, the shelf above the hob is giving me the fear of something dropping off while I'm cooking, the pictures on the wall are wonky, remove everything off the work surfaces except the essentials (kettle, toaster, microwave, airfryer).
It wouldn't put me off buying the house though if the rest of it was right and it was within budget to replace the kitchen.

I wouldn't buy a house with that kitchen as I don't like to see kitchen appliances, prefer integrated or in utility. Fridge is not big enough and oven us way too low. Sorry.

I wouldn’t be keen on washer and dishwasher not integrated or at least the washer behind a door.
No hood also a no no (unless you have an extractor hob).
Also the tiles are not of my liking.
Personally, I would consider the cost of redoing the entire kitchen if making an offer.

It would tell me your kitchen is usable but not too my taste and id enjoy planning a new one!

Take a better picture that's not mostly floor and remove all clutter. Id want to see worktops etc.

As a other poster has said, clear the worktops of appliances-having them out suggests lack of storage space -even if you’ve to put them in the boot of the car for viewings!
Its a perfectly inoffensive kitchen and I can’t see that it should put a buyer off.
Yes integrated appliances may be preferable but that’s not something you’re going to change for selling

Not to my taste, but livable. It wouldn't put me off viewing the house as long as I had the budget for a new kitchen.

Lots of surface, great. No extractor that would bug me.
As would washing machine next to oven for some reason. Nice kitchen otherwise, people can put up top cupboards if they want to. Looks nice

Going against the crowd, I actually welcome not integrated white goods tbh. Especially fridges.

Are you only inviting buyers less than 4ft tall to view? Otherwise, what a weird photo angle!

Clear the clutter from the benches
Personally I find it very dark and I hate grey, so not keen on the floor at all, but that is just my opinion.
