My first thought was what a weird angle to take the photo from, you can't see where the hob is without zooming right in, you can't see the sink - is it a double/1.5, what is it made of etc? , you can't see what the worktops look like.

You need to clear EVERYTHING off the work surfaces except for maybe the microwave and the kettle and toaster, and an artfully placed knife block. Just have a few items on the shelves. And take the washing out of the washing machine!

I wouldn't be bothered about a colour scheme if the size and layout was to my liking.

I prefer free standing appliances.. At least you can see there is plumbing and space for a washing machine and dishwasher, and I really wouldn't want someone else's manky old appliances!

I think it's just a small kitchen and the weird angle is supposed to make it look bigger, which sort of does work as people are expecting more from it. For example the oven next to the washing machine is unusual, but I'm assuming it's there because there's nowhere else for it to go - the plumbing is all in that corner with mini dishwasher, sink and washer, and the other units are in front of a hatch through to a living room. I too would like a cooker hood and think open shelves near cookers are weird and sticky. I'm thinking there's probably a freestanding fridge freezer somewhere we can't see in the picture. I don't think there's much point doing anything except maybe taking down the shelf over the cooker.

She means a prospective buyer. If you look at the context of the sentence and remember that this isn't school, she isn't a child and you're not her teacher, it's quite easy to understand.

Well said 👏
