Great location and I think it's a nice house, full of light and character internally. Externally I admit it's a bit ugly.

Why? It's not actually a bad shape/sized house. Looks ex council so probably sturdy as fuck. Plenty of people would be/are happy with similar 🤷

1 million years ago, I used to live in Belsize Park, in a five story house (beautiful basement and four floors). Absolutely beautiful on the outside as well. I didn't own the house. (unfortunately) but if that place is worth what they've got it on for I hate to think what the house I lived in is worth now!!

For the majority of us, it would need a lot of money spent to update it, but it would be a perfectly solid house

I'm staggered at the price, and I rent in an area I couldn't afford to buy in, on the other side of London. I thought my area was ridiculous but this makes it look reasonable!!

That aside I love how they've done it. They look like arty creative people who've really enjoyed living there.

It's really nice inside. I like it. The price is absolutely mind blowing though to someone who lives in a HA house in the north

I actually think it represents very good value for Belsize Park 🫣 Also from the outside it reminds me of some of the span houses so it would be interesting to know who the architect is was-presumably a mid century build anyway.

I had to look hard for the ice cream cone, I think it looks very welcoming and cosy, clearly a much loved family home, somewhere you'd feel really comfortable visiting.
Price is for location not house.
I suspect it will become bland and styled within an inch of its life when it is inevitably developed.

I'm not keen on the interior decoration. It feels very student-y for a £1.4m house.
