For that sort of money you could have this and it's far nicer IMO www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/152121137

Neeenaaw · 12/12/2024 18:02

The living room mirror looks like the oogie boogie from nightmare before Christmas

catin8oots · 12/12/2024 18:04

It's always the OP's house ffs.

Why else would anybody bother starting a thread about a pretty average, overpriced house in the arse-end of nowhere.

UndeniablyGenX · 12/12/2024 18:08

I really like the layout but the decor is not to my taste. Wrong part of the country for me and by virtue of that way, way out my budget.

pilates · 12/12/2024 18:11

No not to my taste

allmybooksarefromthelibrary · 12/12/2024 18:16

I'd expect the integrated dishwasher to shut properly for nearly a million quid!

ThePoshUns · 12/12/2024 18:21

Looks like they've had a seance in the dining room.
I would want something bigger for that money and not directly on the street either .

2025willbemytime · 12/12/2024 18:23

I don't get what is stunning about it. It's cluttered and a mess.

eqpi4t2hbsnktd · 12/12/2024 18:28

chavvy as fuck mate.

Tinytigertail · 12/12/2024 18:36

I don't know the area, but it looks like a lot of house for the money. I always like that colour brick and there are some really nice touches in the interior. Nice house IMO

If I had the money to do this up, think I prefer this money pit:

Prehen House, 96 Prehen, Derry

Contains 2 churches and wine cellars!

Oh, now that is something else.

BuzzieLittleBee · 12/12/2024 18:51

Henley high street would not be where I'd want to spend £1m! It's either nose to tail traffic, or people zooming through.

Dash0Cal · 12/12/2024 19:10

“I only work in black…and sometimes very very dark grey” 😭

I love these old cottages but sadly they have killed this one with the refurb.

Oblomov24 · 12/12/2024 21:53

The low ceilings I find really oppressive.

unsync · 12/12/2024 22:16

It's a bit cramped for the money. Plus you come in off the street straight into the sitting room. For nigh on £1m, I'd expect a lobby at least. I would rather the kitchen at the front, with the sitting room opening onto the garden. The flow's a bit off for my taste.

TinkerTailorSoldier · 14/12/2024 20:02

Yeaaah, nah!
Too dark for me. And I don't like the floor plan

TheYearOfSmallThings · 14/12/2024 20:05

Oblomov24 · 12/12/2024 21:53

Same.

I don't like the inside at all, although the front is nice.
