The KitchenAid is very close to the sink and the bedside tables are very far away from the bed.

Why on earth has it been publicised who owns the property? It just opens up another can of worms and the potential for criminal activity.

I’m not condoning what HE did at all, it was awful and abhorrent to say the least but the owner of the property didn’t need to be revealed unless HE did it himself.

Cannot imagine that the property will sell for the asking price or sell quick for that matter…. Nice house though.

It's a good space and very neutral so would be easy to move in and decorate as you wish. The kitchen isn't to my taste I like something more traditional, and the decking needs to be replaced with a proper patio and I like colour, books, soft furnishings etc but overall I'd prefer to buy bland, there's little chance of a previous owner having exactly your taste so if you're going to redo might as well have a blank canvas to start with

Sepoctnov · 10/10/2024 11:07

Wow what a house. Crappy interiors though.

But anyway who wants to buy the former home of a paedophile 🤮

downthebackofthesettee · 10/10/2024 14:04

Sad to see the cat flap in the door. Hope kitty is with STBXW and not him

Doggymummar · 10/10/2024 14:07

I think it's beautiful ❤️ perfect bland canvas ready to put your mark on

EntirelyMadeofBosoms · 10/10/2024 14:35

There are some really distasteful comments in this thread, particularly about imagining him in the rooms pleasuring himself. What is wrong with some of the people on this site?!

it’s an awful invasion of the privacy of his family, too. I hope MnHQ see sense and remove this thread, or at least some of the worst comments.

That house looks like his wife hasn't lived there for a very, very long time. It screams single bloke/divorcees house, you know exactly like the ones you see on rightmove.

He had all that, a lovely wife and a great job and he still managed to let his cock get the better of him. All he had to do was go to work, do his job, go home.

100%

In other news this house looks so very sterile and sad.
Really quite grim...

She has stayed by him, so he has still got the lovely wife! Not the job/career though….

That's wrong. They separated quite some time ago - and he is living elsewhere. Not sure about the family though

FixTheBone · 10/10/2024 15:15

I would have chosen a different agent....

And not Savills.

This, absolutely this

No idea why - but the picture of it was in Several papers and on news sites with details of who was selling it, so it was dead easy to find it online - and I agree with you. Leaves it wide open for criminal activity, vandalism etc

LoveKay · 10/10/2024 15:17

It gives me the creeps imagining that disgusting old pervert in there. I wouldn't want to use the same kitchen/bathroom/toilet etc he'd used. I feel very sorry for his innocent wife and innocent family after what he's done and put them through, but I feel even more sorry for the real victims in this, the abused children.

quoque · 10/10/2024 15:19

Gosh that's horrible. Imagine how lovely it must have been before it was "tastefully" redone?

I hate seeing beautiful old buildings that have been blandwashed. There isn’t a single aspect of this home I find appealing, apart from the exterior:(

A beautiful old house near where Mum lives has been blandwashed.

A great term.
Dreary grey everywhere.

Mum was downsizing and said how blandly dreary many old houses are inside.

lots of downlighting and grey everywhere.

Fuckmyliferightnow · 10/10/2024 15:22

The blandest house I've ever seen.

WallaceinAnderland · 10/10/2024 15:25

Sale history says it was bought for 980k 19 years ago.

That means it has increased at a rate of nearly 200k per year. Surely not?

oakleaffy · 10/10/2024 15:31

Chowtime · 10/10/2024 08:10

I know right - I've got visions of Huw hunched over them wanking himself stupid over illegal child porn.

That would put me off as well.

Easily done in London.

Toddlerteaplease · 10/10/2024 15:39

The mismatched kitchen units would drone me mad. So bland.

TopBunk · 10/10/2024 15:58

Four million pounds more than they bought it for. Set up for life, I'd say.

Not really given they probably need to use it to buy two family homes in the same area.

SmileyHappyPeopleInTheSun · 10/10/2024 17:17

Blandwashed is a good term for it.

It's not terrible but maybe a house stager could help them get the best price.

AgnesX · 10/10/2024 17:20

Very nice (if unlived in looking) but for the thick end of £5m it should be.

Is Mrs E giving him the heave ho?
