Interesting knockers

Hello, I’m thinking of getting a door knocker, looking for some inspiration. We’re near the sea so I’m thinking maybe a nautical one! Have you got an interesting one, does it link to a theme of your town or street or house? Might be outing maybe people can make change just for this? Would love some ideas.

I love this. This is what first came to my mind. We have an almost 200 year old door with a knocker otherwise I would be buying the bee!

Has anyone ever come across a culinary themed door knocker? Like the cutlery set on the door on Great British Menu. Have looked but can’t find; it must have been specially made. Would love to get my chef husband a similar one!

There are some very rude door knockers about, they would certainly have callers giggling at the door, eg make appendages, no prizes for guessing what forms the knocker!

You need something like a lifebouy or anchor one!

Ignore the fact our front door needs repainting! But this is our knocker 😁 Causes much comment from visitors and passers-by. Also a good identifier for delivery drivers!

Just back from Malta - get yourself to Valletta OP, it's knocker heaven! Huge brass dolphins, fish, tritons, lion heads, owls.... you name it, it was probably on a door somewhere!
