Interesting knockers

Hello, I’m thinking of getting a door knocker, looking for some inspiration. We’re near the sea so I’m thinking maybe a nautical one! Have you got an interesting one, does it link to a theme of your town or street or house? Might be outing maybe people can make change just for this? Would love some ideas.

My Mum had a woodpecker door knocker.

I have a green man on the fence next to the garden gate, peeping through a climber. It's more for decoration as we'd never hear it.

I really like that snail one! Wouldn't suit my current front door (and in my neighbourhood I'd likely just find an empty snail shaped space one morning) but maybe my next front door!

I don't know how coastal you are OP. We are a 15min walk (2min drive) to the beach, and although we are 'coastal', I'm not sure a sea themed knocker suits a house which isn't within a street or 2 of the actual seafront. Maybe just my thoughts?
Does your home have a name, instead of a number? Could that be used as a knocker theme- Oak Lodge, Ash House etc?
Does the road have a theme which could be used for inspiration or your surname/family history?
I saw Labyrinth themed door knockers on another thread ages ago, which looked fun- but might be a bit niche. I'm unsure whether you'd need to install both of them, or how that would work on a normal, front door?

Oh some of these are lovely, I might just need to check how I get the one I have off to be able to replace it 😁

I have seen anchor shaped ones or ship ones which are very nautical perfect for seaside homes, funnily enough if a door has a nice knocker I do like to stop and look. its nice to be original all the ring door bells look the same!
