We moved house last Autumn and need to get blinds for all the rooms downstairs. They have big windows so it won’t be cheap. After getting a quote from a local curtain maker (💰) I’ve decided to use a company like Blinds2go. But before I spend out, I wanted to ask if anyone’s bought Roman blinds from them and have they lasted well?
Also, what’s the deal with the Suresize insurance? Do you send the incorrect blind back before they order the new one? Am thinking they must have lots of blinds sent back that they need to sell off?!

I've used Blinds2go for several projects and they are fantastic, very well made, reasonably priced and quick delivery too. Blinds have lasted very well and were easy to fit. Not sure how the size insurance works though but probably worth the extra few quid if you have any doubt over your measurements.

I've bought everything from roller blinds, wooden venetians, shutters to roman blinds over the years. They used to be Tuiss years ago but now that just seems to be branding within the brand.

Really good customer service. Blinds are decent quality for the cost. They're not the same as handmade by the local curtain maker but they're 89% of that.

I returned a wooden venetian years ago because it had a pen mark on it, no issues at all, they just made another one.

I do think they are stingy with their chain length on roman blinds. Other than that, they are good for the level of spend.

The suresize insurance is newish. I replaced four blinds after decorating recently and didn't bother with it.

We got 2 blackout blinds from Blinds2go this week for our bedroom & DD’s room. We took out suresize insurance and only paid that once. One fits well and was pretty straightforward to fit but the other doesn’t, they are remaking it and sending within 7-10 working days as remakes are priority. We don’t have to send the blind back so if it doesn’t fit anywhere I’ll keep as a spare. If the next blind doesn’t fit we get a discount off another one but I don’t know how much that will be.

Based on that think their customer service is pretty good! I think we waited 2-3 weeks for the blinds in the first place.

We've used them for all the blinds in the house, great quality and great customer service. To the poster who commented about the chain size, our windows are quite tall so I requested extra long ones which they sent out at no extra charge. The reason they're short is for safety reasons.

Had the blinds nearly 4 years now and no issues, still happy with them 🙂

I've had Roman blinds from them and I like them, the quality seems good, had them for nearly 3 years with no problems. Also some PerfectFit blinds for a garden room and one Venetian blind which have all been fine. I did get one set of curtains from them that had to be remade, and still aren't brilliant. I would use them again but I would stick to blinds.

Campcritters · 07/08/2024 08:55

Just bought one. It’s a roller blackout, paid for the insurance but it fits perfectly. We also got the easyfit (?) option so very easy to fit. As pp said chain is a little short but would defo order again.

angstridden2 · 07/08/2024 08:57

had curtains and a roller blind from them.Very prompt sample service, really pleased with everything I bought.

Lilliesandjasmine · 07/08/2024 08:57

I have put blinds throughout the house and they are fantastic, the insurance is if you’re not confident in your measurements.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 07/08/2024 09:01

We've had roman blinds for about a year, excellent quality, I think one was £200 when a local company quoted over £500! We've had roller blinds too over the years.

August68 · 07/08/2024 09:09

I purchased some vertical blinds from them in 2016 and they are still going strong. They had promised delivery by a certain date and they missed that so gave them to me for free (which was what they'd said in the offer).

Last month we ordered 7 roman blinds from them for our conservatory. Really happy with them. I did take out the Suresize insurance incase but they actually fitted fine. Quality seems good. I'd definitely use again.

LoopyGremlin · 07/08/2024 09:12

I've purchased all my blinds from them. Good prices and quick delivery. One blind was damaged in transit and they replaced it straight away without any quibble.

Longhotsummers · 07/08/2024 09:13

I’ve got Roman blinds that must be 10 years old and still going strong.
Their blinds for velux windows aren’t so great and I’m about to replace them for real Velux blinds.

ItsAlrightDarling · 07/08/2024 09:18

My whole house has blinds from Blinds2Go and I haven’t had any issues at all. I didn’t take out the insurance because I was confident in my measurements and they all fit perfectly.

ShoehornSheryl · 07/08/2024 09:23

I bought 2 Roman blinds from them and I’m very impressed. Will use them again for future projects.

blitzen · 07/08/2024 09:26

I've been happy with blinds 2 go. I'd definitely recommend getting some of their free samples before ordering. Nice quality blinds.

LaWench · 07/08/2024 09:37

We had a shocking experience with them. They sent the wrong colour twice, finally got it right on the third attempt. They were massive too so a huge hassle to keep returning. Must have cost them a fortune to eventually correct. They made us out to be liars, we had to send them a link of their website to the colour/ style we ordered. I wouldn't use them again but I know lots of people had good experiences.

Ftctvycdul · 07/08/2024 09:45

The quality is lower than going with a higher end company but they are really good quality for their price point. We have plain cream blinds from them for our kitchen and are really happy with them.

Cookerhood · 07/08/2024 09:50

I've used them & they seem good. I took out the insurance & was glad I had as I'd somehow managed to switch the length & width measurements. They said I would have to send it back but it was never requested & it's still sitting here. Anyone want a short fat blind?
I'm not sure what to do with it as I'm sure the moment I throw it away they will ask for it, but it's been some months now.

FoleyHuck · 07/08/2024 09:50

Used them before for a blackout roller blind and was very impressed, particularly with their service. We live offshore and they were very open that their usual courier isn't the most economical to deliver here and suggested a 3rd party alternative that they were used to dealing with for island customers. All went very smoothly.

pizzatrucker · 07/08/2024 09:51

My roman blind from them is from 2013 and still going strong. I also have roller blinds and horizontal venetians from them too. I have been using them for at least 15 years. Love their samples and their website which shows the same blinds against the same window so you can see how opaque they are. The samples are a good size too rather than a tiny square which you get from some companies.

I am about to replace my fitted roller blinds in my kitchen with the new no drill roller blind so I am hoping they are just as good. The fabric quality is decent and easy to judge from the samples they send.

Notellinganyone · 07/08/2024 09:57

Great experience with them. As others have said - quality is not the absolute best but prices are very competitive and customer service is excellent.

Depends what you buy. I have some heavy velvet and silk ones and the quality is outstanding, I also have wooden shutter blinds from them and the same, excellent.

HappierTimesAhead · 07/08/2024 11:26

Really good. I have blinds and curtains (curtains2go!) and the service is speedy and decent quality. I would go with the extras like blackout/thermal lining as this improves the quality. I only have one pair of curtains I don't really like from them but I just made the wrong choice - the material is a bit shiny - so my fault for not reading the description!

NeedthatFridayfeeling · 07/08/2024 11:32

Haven't bought from them yet but our house came with blinds and curtains from them and they are great quality.
Just wish i could put them in the washing machine as previous owners put them in the kitchen and they trap smells, but are too nice to get rid of.

SaulHudsonDavidJones · 07/08/2024 11:56

No complaints here. I've used them for various windows and am very happy.
