Strange house - ransacked and graves!

Currently looking at houses in this area and have come across this place. Why do you think it's so messy? Is this just delapidation or has it been maybe burgled? I don't think I can live with graves in the garden. Seems very spooky but was probably a very nice house at some point. Very old.

Wow I had a good look at that, what a find and I hope the new owners can cherish it and restore it to its former glory. Wouldn't bother me re graves I'd want to know the backstory and old look after their graves.
It does look like part of it has been ransacked what a terrible shame for it to have fallen into such disrepair.

The shiny (new?) water cylinder surprised me! I suppose it’s possible someone was living there & just upgraded the essentials to keep it liveable, but in the end couldn’t keep up with cleaning. It looks like an abandoned hoarders place but also like it’s probably been ransacked by someone.

I agree, it must have been beautiful, but just left to go derelict. Possibly damaged by burglars too

This is so beautiful. It makes me so sad that a house that has been loved for so long, that has seen centuries of history and been home to countless people, has got to this state. Another one buying a lottery ticket and doing it up if I win. I might be getting a present out first though because those attic rooms are seriously creepy.

It’s very weird, most of the items look pretty much dated so I can’t imagine anyone living there but the boiler is strange too in the middle of it..

It needs a good clear out, it looks like squatters have been in it. The squatters are far more creepy than the inhabitants from other realms

I'm sure that's a coffin in picture 24. Why would anyone have a coffin in their house?
