My cats.

A surround sound speaker that the dog chewed the cable from so it doesn't work.

Geneticsbunny · 30/04/2024 08:03

Me

BruceAndNosh · 30/04/2024 08:06

Our enormous loft. It's not boarded and has no light so useless for storage.
Which suits me fine!

Mrsjayy · 30/04/2024 08:08

Dh has consoles that he hasn't played for years and.they just sit in the TV unit annoying me !

AutumnFroglets · 30/04/2024 08:09

I would have said husband (you must have known 😂). The next is treadmill, then airfryer or kitchen mixer. Outside it's the shredder for cuttings. It hates leaves and it hates wood thicker than a pencil.

Freakinfraser · 30/04/2024 08:13

A very expensive speaker, its bowers and Wilkins zeppelin, at 700 quid, that doesn’t work, as it wont connect to the internet since we moved. It is now in a cupboard.

JellyBabiesSaveLives · 30/04/2024 08:18

Dh's box of cables for appliances/devices that we no longer own.

I think we've got an ice cream maker in a cupboard somewhere too

Startingagainandagain · 30/04/2024 08:21

Cat...

Gettingbysomehow · 30/04/2024 08:23

My new TV which hasn't worked properly since I got it so I have to watch TV in my bedroom.

PuppyMonkey · 30/04/2024 08:44

The robovac which I was assured on MN would change my life. It shuffles around for 1.5 hours not really picking any crap up and repeatedly going in the same spot/room and ignoring, for example, the entire kitchen. Stuck with it for about three weeks and then realised it was actually useless as I had to hoover up properly afterwards. Confused

BarrelOfOtters · 30/04/2024 08:47

Sound bar for tv, lost cable in move 4 years ago. It gathers dust.

kenwood chef I bought from fb marketplace, it needs a slight adjustment and also, apparently,I don’t bake.or when I do I use a hand held mixer.

tortiecat · 30/04/2024 08:51

An enormously heavy Le Crueset hob kettle which we received as a wedding present - it has never been used but DH refuses to part with it.

squashyhat · 30/04/2024 09:04

An antique pendulum clock I inherited from my Dad that I cannot get to work. It goes to the clock menders - works fine. Comes back and hangs on my wall - ticks for about 30 seconds then gives up. It looks good and I can't part with it but...it has one job... 🙄

BobnLen · 30/04/2024 09:13

Most of the stuff in the garage

Coastalcreeksider · 30/04/2024 09:14

Kenwood mixer/food processor/blender. Bought by my best friend for my 60th birthday. I used it quite a bit to begin with but I now just use a hand mixer if I'm making a cake. The blender has been used about twice and the food processor never been used.

I would never part with it though, I do live in hope that I will haul it out of the cupboard and put it to good use one day.

GettingStuffed · 30/04/2024 12:25

Cutlery drawer, it's collapsed and I can never find my flat tine forks. Not worth repairing, not that I'd know how or even be able to do it if I did.

Anyway we're putting in a new kitchen and Wickes backed out when we told them there was too much unnecessary stuff in their plan.

henlake7 · 30/04/2024 19:06

I tend to chuck out anything useless TBH.
So most useless thing currently is the garden. Id love to get out in it but my neighbour is an alcoholic drug addict with anger issues and after one memorable summer (involving many police visits and me finding human poop in my garden, also reporting him for having a gun) well....I just decided it wasnt worth it and never go out there now.
He is older then me though so Im hoping to outlive him!!LOL

My vintage medical model of a placenta, complete with stand.

MooseAndSquirrelLoveFlannel · 30/04/2024 19:24

My steam mop it's big, cumbersome and the mop calls off constantly.

The cat

DonttouchthatLarry · 30/04/2024 19:33

Built in dishwasher - there's only 2 of us and we wash up by hand. I use it as an extra cupboard 😀

purplecorkheart · 30/04/2024 19:35

Loads, a beautiful china coffee set. It is soo fragile I am afraid to touch it.

A ladder that I had from my previous house that had super high ceilings. Much lower ceilings in my current house. It is laying flat in garage and is barely fitting.

Coffee machine. I was gifted a really fancy coffee machine. I tend to grab coffee at work as it is free and I only have coffee once a day. At weekends I rarely have coffee and if I do I can't be bother trying to setup coffee machine so go for filtered

Clothesline,it never seems to stop raining!

Daffsarealwaysyellow · 30/04/2024 19:44

A box of about a dozen old keys some of which were in the house when we moved in. Some I suspect came from our old house. They don't fit any of our current doors/sheds/gates/locks/padlocks but I'm still too scared to throw them out just in case. We've lived here twenty years.😳
