Has anyone used Anglian for windows?

I need some new windows, will have to upvc for cost reasons, would rather use a company who recycle upvc into new windows and Anglian do this. I have them coming out next week to survey and quote. Has anyone used them? Are they a) reasonable price wise, b) reliable and decent quality?

I have had the worst experience with windows. Think the pictures speak for themselves. We had someone come and give us a quote. This quote was £4k more than the next quote but we decided to spend a little more to get quality windows. Well it was disaster from beginning to end. The quality for of service was shocking. The windows were installed so badly it beggars belief and this is not an exaggeration. The installation which should have taken 6 days went on for 6 weeks. The window joints were shocking and the wall were left in such a state. I too 3 afternoons off from work to make sure I was there to speak to the manager. In the end I was not happy. The manager of the Manchester branch called Steve Wilkinson or Williams I can’t remember his name pretty much told me they couldn’t do anything more to improve the quality. After some back and forth I raised a formal complaint with head office and Steve called me the next day to offer me a £1000 discount if i made the rest of the payment on the same day. I was so exhausted with dealing with them I agreed. I paid £11,065.l on top of what I had already paid before the job started (17k), To close the case and start paying for the repairs on my property. 10 months later I have been contacted by the dept legal team and told that the £1000 was not logged and I now owe another £1000. The stress this company has caused me is unbelievable. When I contested this, the manager Steve then came back and told his regional manager HE was willing to acccept £500 from me to close the case. He knew exactly what he had done. I am so furious! Apart from the lack of integrity Anglian have shown, I have been left with rubbish windows and the knowledge that this man is still out there. I am teacher. I work 12/13 hour days. This sort of stress and worry is just too much. I then went on to find out that the patio which had been cut into the wall is 2 inches wider at the bottom than the top hence the joints in the window not fitting. Beware save your self the hastle. My experience s have shown This company is just full of con men from installation to managers. If you deal with Manchester store beware of Steve and a father and son duo who installed our windows. Shocking

Same - ludicrous prices. Which they then “discount” if you sign up on the day, and they also never fuck off and keep phoning and pestering you even after you’ve told them you are going with a different firm, until you block them.

Avoid like you would avoid Japanese Knotweed.
