Prefabricated extension

Hi, has anyone had a prefabricated extension 'built' into their property? If so, has it been as good as the companies say?

We are seriously considering replacing our largish conservatory with one, as the quotes for 'proper' extension builds have been enormous (we're in a village in the SE commuter belt).

This feels like it might be the only practical option, but obvious we would like to hear what other people's experiences have been.

I can't find the previous thread (only empty ones) and am very interested too, as it's something we're considering for the same reason. Anyone help please??
