It's in the wall as you can see and in the cupboard behind us a pump. I ideally want to replace the silver hose and the shower head.
The brand says aqa lease.

Word of warning. I replaced ours in the ensuite with a longer one and buggered up the shower- it blew something inside because it needed more or less pressure or something, to push the water extra distance.

However, it made DH say 'No point in re-lacing that shower, I don't like it anyway. Let's have the ensuite re-done'.

So you might or might not want to take heed of the warning.

Your husband is right, it's the connecting part that will be the same. But if the hose has a larger diameter then more water will be flowing through which will give a more powerful water flow, which you may or may not want. I changed mine for a longer one and flow remained the same with no problems.

I assume that was an electric shower and probably the shower head that was incompatible.

Yes- it wasn't the shower head, it was the length of the metal tube.

Oh dear.

I don't want anything blowing up.
I just wanted like for like and he's got a level maths. I asked him to measure the diameter.
The length is the same.

Aqualisa are really helpful. Look at their website and decide if yours if a digital or analogue shower, ring them up, they have fitted a replacement hose for me in the past, just paid for the part their guarantee period was quite a long time and their customer services are excellent. Actually I’m not sure if they even charged for the part, I think they said I was due an upgrade.
