Am I buying the home or the Chanel perfume?

Haven't seen one of these threads for a bit so thought I would share!

I couldn't buy it, I'd be afraid I'd catch twat if I lived there

I usually disagree with many of your posts but this is spot on 🤣

Permanentlyfrazzled · 30/07/2023 13:24

This would really put me off...

Mybestusername · 30/07/2023 14:14

Useful for burglars though, showing all the potential swag laid out

AgnesX · 30/07/2023 14:25

So many of these drive me nuts.....all about the sellers possessions and pretty flowers which mean nothing. I'm more interested in the room dimensions, closeups of the facilities ie bathroom/kitchen, doorways etc.

Seems to be increasingly common on the more upmarket home.

What brand is the Teddy in the wardrobe? I know it's a designer one and it's bugging me!

Steiff? Free the Wardrobe One !

whirlyhead · 30/07/2023 14:42

Loving the umbrella holders in the wardrobe.

i’d like to see more photos of the actual property and fewer of the designer stuff the place is littered with. The photographer deserves to be fired.

Bugging me too - could it be Prada or Burberry perchance?

On a different note, I hope they've got good security because all that stuff would fetch a fortune if anyone got hold of it, and the property wouldn't be difficult to find...

Violinist64 · 30/07/2023 15:36

They certainly like a drink or ten. I don't think I have ever seen quite as many bottles and glasses in one house before.

I wasn't being mean! These threads are on here all the time
It's more the photographer when they add photos of a gin bottle or a door knob... I want to see the rooms and space, not pointless stuff

Yes, you are being mean.

Please post photos of your own house so we can take the piss out of your taste

Bonfire23 · 31/07/2023 00:47

@VeniVidiWeeWee I haven't said one thing about the decor
It's about the sales photos which is a topic posted regularly on here - where estate agents post photos of a close up of a tap or a hand wash. There's nothing wrong with the property, it's the photos - why would I want to see a collection of perfumes if I was buying a house?

Hagnarok · 31/07/2023 01:21

All the boxes and handbags laying about would just make me think there wasn't enough storage in the place, it all looks very cluttered.

inappropriateraspberry · 31/07/2023 04:24

Why all the photos of furniture and belongings? You're not buying that - I want to see the rooms! I don't care if it's full of champagne and designer crap or primark bags, they don't affect how I would live in a property.

It's pricey because of the area mostly, prime beach position

Same area
https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/135770444#/?channel=RES_BUY

My friend lives the other end so about 7 miles away and paid 180k for her apartment - because it's no beach view and the other end so more st Anne's than Lytham

You can’t compare 7miles away your creeping into south shore area which is a complete shit hole

Bonfire23 · 31/07/2023 07:27

@rwalker that's what I said Grin
You're paying for the area

PMSL!! That's a fine example indeed, thank you for finding it OP.

isthesolution · 31/07/2023 08:04

Agreed it's very strange advertising.

Almost like they are trying to sell you a lifestyle rather than a house?!

Estate agents set the scene and lifestyle of the people who live there.

It's called "Marketing" and happens in every line of business 😀

The guy on the lounger looks stupid though!
