Neighbours don't care... Garden disgusting full of dog poo

Live in detached house, next door neighbour who I never see and her older son garden is right next to ours.... We share a fence and you can see right into their garden from any of our windows upstairs. They Have large dogs.. Not sure how many as don't really see them maybe 3-4. Dogs arent a bother really... Bark occasionally but not excessively. Issue I have is the amount of dog poo all over their garden .... Its disgusting!!!! What can I do about it? They aren't approachable neighbours and don't want to create an issue. Am not talking 3/4 turds but around 40-50. I actually can't eat sometimes thinking about it... And when I open curtains upstairs first thing I see is the poo mountain

Shit attracts flies. Flies could be having a rave over at the neighbours dancing around on all the poo and then stopping off at yours to walk on your food if you're outside eating al fresco.

I am! So nice that in all my 50+ years of neighbourliness I’ve been involved in four neighbourhood disputes- twice receiving 😳and kept on friendly terms every time.

We had the exact same issue. I went over to their house, knocked on the door and spoke to them about it. It was a bit awkward but I offered to come over to help to soften any embarrassment that they may have been feeling.

I was utterly relieved as one of them cleared all the poo later that day and I have never seen more than about 3-4 in one go since.

Their garden is still unkempt and full of foot-high grass and weeds, but it has made a massive difference to my happiness in my home and garden.

Dog poo is a biohazard. Go and speak to them and good luck 💐

The Environmental Health department at the local council might take a dim view of a garden full of dog shit. Especially when you tell them about the swarms of flies and the scurrying rats...

Report to environmental health. I did and they had to clean it up and the fuck ton of rubbish they had. It's no way to live for humans or dogs.

Is there garden grass ? If so then at some stage they must need to cut the grass which will solve it albeit temporarily. If it’s hard standing then that’s worse really as so easy to clean that
