We offered on a property a couple of days ago and haven't heard back yet. It's currently empty, but the EA reckons the sellers want to wait a couple of weeks and see what other offers they get. We need to find somewhere soon or potentially risk losing our buyer! If no reply by the weekend we'll need to start looking again.

So to update I offered 30k over asking. May seem like a lot in this climate but the house was just right and due to health issue need to move quickly. After all that it was rejected and sold to a friend. Can anyone tell me what has just happened here. I’m so confused.

This is the second property through the same EA where they say it was sold to a friend of the vendor. I mean, am I being thick, is it code for something or just what it is?
