Where did you live before your current home?

a rental home 15 minutes away from my current one

rented a house in mainland China. Bought my first property at age 51.

We lived an hour away in the city centre, now in a village at the other end of the region
Job forced move - contract says we have to live within a certain distance of employment

Rented 2 bed flat in Primrose Hill. We loved living there and were very sad to leave, but we needed to a buy a family home and would never have been able to in that area.

Small 3 bed detached almost 12 miles away.

Moved 29 years ago to much bigger 4 bed detached as we were expecting DD and wanted an extra bedroom, utility, separate dining room and en suite. Also better area.

Will be carrying us out of here in a box! 😂

I feel like you’re someone like my SIL trying to work out if a poster is who they say they are by getting some additional information if they see this and respond 😂

Since 2017, I've had 4 jobs and six homes in two different countries and two different regions of the current country. Stability would be nice!

2 bed flat in London zone 1. It was a fantastic location. We could afford to buy a bigger house there, but the schools were uninspiring so we moved further out to zone 2.

A house on the outskirts of a village about 45 minutes drive from the city where we live now.
Moved after several decades of rural life.

Now renting, 6 years ago was owner of a 5-bedroom stone house about 10 miles away. Was married, now divorced. Both in the Limousin, before that 'golden' triangle in Cheshire.

2 bed flat in west london (single) - me and DH both owned our own 2 bedroom places. Got married and moved into a 3 bed semi (still west london) which we've now extended.
