Best sage paint colours

I have bought a house which is covered in grey. Even the kitchen units are grey.

I am looking for a nice sage (or “dirty pale greige” as DH calls it) which is NOT a Farrow & Ball colour. I’ve been through the Homebase and Crown colour charts but the greens are a bit appley. Also, I’d like to avoid getting paint mixed as I tried that last year for a bluey white colour and ended up with 2 litres of sky blue paint.

Any good suggestions?

Something a bit like the green background here, but a bit paler. Does that make sense?

Following, but I’m particularly looking for outside paint for garden furniture and outside doors.

We used Dulux 'overtly olive' in our living room and it is so lovely, people always compliment it, would definitely recommend!

We just painted our kitchen in Valspar Premium Prairie Sage. It's a lovely deep colour which looks great against our wooden cabinets.

Overtly Olive is beautiful, but probably darker than you want.

It really is beautiful though.

Look at Dulux - Gentle Calm Qtr. French Limestone Qtr,
Silver Grass Qtr or Celery Satin Qtr. These are pale pond,mist colours that look nice with white or natural wood.

Valspar earthy beige - it’s so beautiful on the wall. (It is a mixed paint colour though)

Dunelm do a lovely sage green.

Overtly Olive is a lovely darker colour that is also a perfect neutral too.

Dulux Heritage Sage Green - I have it in my hallway and it’s beautiful. Easy to paint with and touches up really well.

This is it in my hall, it could be a touch darker for what you’d like. Ignore the floor covering - I’m waiting for a kitchen to be delivered!

I know it’s F&B (but if it’s price which you prefer not to pay you could get it copied?), but Bone is my go to sage. Had it in 3 houses in 3 different rooms and it’s been a pale sagey-grey-green in each one

Morning Downpour from Valspar is nice

We had overtly olive but repainted in tranquil dawn as we fancied a changem
Its a funny colour as it can look a bit blue or a bit grey depending in whats around it, but in my house it is a very soft sage green.

I used Little Greene’s Normandy Grey for my kitchen cupboards.

Outside (window frames, garage door, fence, etc) I used a RAL code which matches kitchen door I had installed. It’s RAL 7002. I haven’t really got any good pictures. It finishes lighter than you’d think by looking at the colour code onscreen.

Thanks everyone. I like the Dulux overtly olive but I’m leaning towards old favourite French Grey even though I said I would never use F&B.

I tried the Wilco Matcha but that came out yellow in my walls 🤔

We have Dulux Crushed Aloe in our front room, which is a really nice colour, IMO.

Little Greene’s Normandy Grey is gorgeous. It’s not grey, it’s green but with a greigey flavour to it.

Dunelm have some great colours- just using this which is lovely:

I got a b&q one and then got mixed in Valspar. Cannot remember colour though!

We've got Celadon by Zoffany in elite emulsion. It wasn't cheap but the finish is invincible and withstands kids/dogs/clumsy DH well. It's a french grey-green according to their description but we've got it all through the hall, landing and stairs and it's more of a soft sage to me.
