Hi all,

Looking for similar areas to:

Herne Hill
Dulwich
Hampstead
Muswell Hill
Stoke Newington
Chelsea
Islington
Clapham

Ideally with good train links (with the odd exception eg. Muswell Hill)

Looking for a lively, village-y, safe, clean atmosphere. Ideally with a naice local market.

For a young single woman moving to London and looking to let a studio.

Herne Hill is only a short walk to Brixton Tube or you can bus it.

Brixton full of every type of food you can buy, Herne Hill has the village feel.

Brockwell Park is lovely and they have community gardens and events etc.

How about something like this OP- crouch end is villagey and nice with good access to Ally Pally etc - this is brand new and a nice layout

I used to live near here. Calling it Crouch End is stretching the truth.

It is nice, walking distance to Crouch End, Ally Pally and Wood Green.

@loveisanopensore Oh I agree- I lived in crouch end, my son was born when we lived there. Close enough though to go into it regularly!! We lived on Weston Park- so 'proper' crouch end. It's not a bad studio though I thought!

I haven't lived North for a fair few years so can't comment on them but as an 'eastender' I'd recommend Wanstead. Just to warn you though - those studios you see in budget probably go for far higher than advertised. We rent a flat in London which had quite the bidding war for this year.

Greenwich really is a fantastic location

Second Herne Hill. Village-y. Easy to get to Oxford Circus from there - 37 bus then Victoria line. But there is a young crowd too. East Dulwich also good as mix of families and young people but cute and green with market etc. 12 bus goes to Oxford Circus or could get 37 to Brixton then Victoria line.
