Looking for a nice village outside Norwich

Title says it all really, we are considering relocating near to Norwich (DH's home town), want to be in a smallish village with its own primary school (non-faith) and a nice pub. We are considering the likes of Taverham, Little Melton and Stoke Holy Cross, just wondered if anyone had other recommendations (or places to avoid).

PG have sent you my email via mumsnet. It may be tomorrow before you get it.

Ages ago it used to be Contact Another Talker which is where CAT came from. It should really be renamed CAM.

Well I think you are all way to far west - come & live by me - over towards Martham/Acle - & any little ones can come to my nursery (when & if it opens )

I forgot about acle but the schools I think are quite good and its pretty and easy access to norwich.
Fimbo - will watch out for it!

Hello, great thread,
You all seem to know the area really well. I am moving to Norwich as I work at UEA. Have found a house that we love in Drayton. Just wondered if anyone knows drayton and if you would recommend it? I have a 4 year old starting school in September and a 7 month old baby.
Any information is appreciated.

Thank you!!
