Pine ceiling though as well.

Gingernaut · 04/06/2022 12:45

It hasn't had any major redecoration since the 70s.

All the photos show vintage furniture and tiles.

Kreature69 · 04/06/2022 12:52

I love it

chunkymandarincoulis · 04/06/2022 12:52

I grew up in a house with decor like that 😂

QuestionableMouse · 04/06/2022 12:54

I'm more concerned about the photoshopped looking sky, to be honest!

dworky · 04/06/2022 13:14

I'd put up with much worse for a sea view.

Plump82 · 04/06/2022 13:15

I love those tiles. I'd keep them!

ivykaty44 · 04/06/2022 13:17

at least the tiles are interesting

SunnyLobelia · 04/06/2022 13:18

Oh i love it!!!! What amazing tiles. I would keep them msyelf.

Sd352 · 04/06/2022 13:33

Ooh I love it. 70s' interiors are back and this is the real thing.
Some modernist furniture, some more plants, bringing in some more bright colours in the rest of the house and it would be a dream. Brilliant windows and well-proportioned rooms.

I would definitely keep the orange tiles.

Newestname002 · 04/06/2022 13:54

Don't mind the pine ceiling - easily painted (ivory white?). But the bathrooms look like expensive refurbs plus the kitchen too. Great views though. 🌹

LaQuern · 04/06/2022 14:40

I love it!!!

Seriously wouldn't change a thing. I have a coffee set that would fit right in.

JackieCollinshasnoauthority · 04/06/2022 14:57

Fab. Definitely coming back as a fashion.

NightmareSlashDelightful · 04/06/2022 15:00

That's quite reasonably priced for North Berwick. Business contact of mine has just paid 2.5 million for a house there. It's a lovely place, but I'm not sure it's 2.5 million smackers-worth of lovely.

actiongirl1978 · 04/06/2022 15:04

Wow I love it too.

We are buying a flat to rent out at the moment and my first thought was 'I hope it's in the area we are looking' then realised it's a house at literally the other end of the country!

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 04/06/2022 15:10

That flat is a brilliant. All original 70s stuff!! Just because you don’t like it OP, there’s nothing wrong with it at all.

FusionChefGeoff · 04/06/2022 15:14

I don't know if it's original - it's almost too new looking?! Has someone done a deliberate 70s refurb??

Either that or very good staging / photos as you'd imagine it would have quite a lot of superficial issues if NOTHING had been touched for 50 years?!

fallfallfall · 04/06/2022 15:15

I’d take it back to even more MCM. Lots of potential lovely view.

Rot · 04/06/2022 15:20

God I LOVE it! I've been tipping coloured bathroom suites for years.

WaltzingToWalsingham · 04/06/2022 15:25

I think it's fantastic! Such a refreshing change from all the grey walls everyone has at the moment, and the white bathroom suites that have been ubiquitous for...thirty years? Bring on the colour!

LeavesOnTrees · 04/06/2022 15:25

I like it as well.
The bathroom in photo 14 would look if you took out the carpet and the brown tiles and just left the orange psychedelic ones.

TiddyTidTwo · 04/06/2022 15:28

Love it!

IrisVersicolor · 04/06/2022 15:37

Those views though.

It will be fab when redone, the top floor would make a lovely master bedroom suite. The pine won’t that difficult to remove. It’s a shame you can’t have French windows out to your own garden though.

Lindy2 · 04/06/2022 15:38

I love it.

Retiling a couple of bathrooms isn't that big a deal. The view and size of the rooms more than makes up for needing to do some redecorating.

There's nothing you can't live with there until you're ready to redo it.

EinsteinaGogo · 04/06/2022 15:48

Wow, such brilliant light and space, and those views are incredible.

I don't mind the inside at all. It looks well cared for.

It does seem odd that there isn't a front view of the building though. The exterior shot (of the back?) makes the building look quite utilitarian.
