I like this one, not sure about the location though and the kitchen/kitchen layout isn't great:

I haven’t realised that a lot of people started downsizing because of the future energy bills….

Nah, you can keep your big houses, I like this one
www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/121124729#/?channel=RES_BUY
Its a little des res with 7 bedrooms and an annex. The pool is outside, but its a bargain :)

MiniTheMinx · 06/04/2022 16:42

darlingdodo The Maidstone house is stunning, and seems very cheap for what it is. Its beautiful, and if I was selling that I would only sell it if I was assured that some oik wasn't going to vandalise it Grin Its grade 1 listed so hopefully won't appeal to Oligarchs or footballers.

sausagesandchamp · 06/04/2022 16:44

Think of the £££ you'd save on nights and days out bowling, cinema, swimming and golf annually. Quite the bargain...

That’s perfect but a little out of my price range 😁

I suppose it is compared to the others but it just a garden and not a country park Grin I’m looking at it thinking how many roses I could plant in there!

It's a bit too flat for me, no views, no interesting large old trees, not very leafy.

A oligarch selling up?
It does seem to have two busts that look like Putin. :)
WulyJmpr · 07/04/2022 19:16

Imagine how long it would take to check if you'd locked the back door(s)!

No thanks Grin
