House went live today

Well our house finally went live this afternoon on Rightmove. Massive thank you for all the top tips I found on here and for all the great advice about decluttering and staging. I am very pleased with how it looked in the end and fingers crossed we find a buyer soon.

Sofa is Bailey from John Lewis. Got it in their special buy sale and then got 25% staff discount as used to me a manager in the York store. Think we paid about £1000 for it and it's very comfortable. Thank you all for all the lovely comments. Will let you know how we get on.

Cafe one side and butcher the other - wow!

I wanted to laugh when the estate agent spoke about all our 'beautiful antiques'. He offered me £300 for our £50 drinks cabinet.

Don't laugh! I was just going to complement your sideboard/drinks cabinet. It's fabulous! You have a great eye for eBay bargains, I wish I had such a gift

The whole house is lovely but photo 13 looking out onto the garden is just really lovely, I'd love that to be my view every day! Someone will snap your lovely house up super quick OP, I have no doubt.

That has to be one of the best presented homes I have ever seen. Not some grey and cream soulless palace but the photos suggest warmth and character. I especially like the eclectic mix of furniture and use of colour.

It looks lovely, but bloody hell nearly half a mill for a 3 bed terrace with a tiny garden in Yorkshire - who knew?!

The house is beautifully decorated. I just wouldn't want to live squished inbetween a Cafe with seating right out near my front door, and a butchers shop on the other side....plus no parking. Such a shame but the house has definitely been decorated to it's potential.
