House went live today

Well our house finally went live this afternoon on Rightmove. Massive thank you for all the top tips I found on here and for all the great advice about decluttering and staging. I am very pleased with how it looked in the end and fingers crossed we find a buyer soon.

What did you do with all your stuff - knicknacks and so on, did you just put it in boxes for the photos and put it all back afterwards?

I've put them all in 2 storage boxes out in our out-building. Almost all our furniture is 2nd hand off ebay. I wanted to laugh when the estate agent spoke about all our 'beautiful antiques'. He offered me £300 for our £50 drinks cabinet.

It's really hard to get a good idea of the layout, room sizes etc, as so many pictures are zoomed in on furniture and beds.

That's why I always look at the floorplan before falling in love with the pictures.

We eat in the dining room on the big table. Clock was from Habitat £50 in their bankruptcy sale years ago.
