Kitchen cupboards. Gloss or matt?

I want very modern, handleless, minimalist, soulless white. But can't decide between gloss and matt. Magnet charge more for matt because it's painted while gloss is vinyled on, but what looks better and what's easier to clean?

I went with Matt, I didn't want a shiny kitchen that showed finger prints.

Matt looks much nicer.

You will spend your life trying to remove smears and fingerprints from gloss, I promise you. Every time you catch a surface in a different light you’ll see something you could have sworn wasn’t there five minutes ago.

For that reason, and from experience, I’d go for matt (which I did, but I stupidly went for matt white so I still spend my life wiping marks from it )

Here’s our soulless white matt. We went with mixed materials to warm it up a bit.

Don't get gloss, I have dark teal gloss and it never looks nice! Finger prints show up all the time.

I have got to disagree with the posters above. I have lived in two houses with gloss kitchens and loved both. I don't notice smears and they are very satisfying to clean.

I find matt so very boring.

Matt with stylish handles. Handleless are quite annoying

Genuinely never had an issue with gloss, never see finger prints and when they do need cleaning it's very easy. That said I do like Matt, never seen handleless Matt but sure it's lovely.

Matt ages better. Gloss, very much of it’s time.

Love my gloss kitchen. Had matt before and the gloss white lifts the kitchen so much more. I don’t find finger marks or cleaning an issue.

I've had both and gloss was much, much easier to keep clean. I do think gloss can look a bit dated though so needs a little sometimes to make it a bit jazzy or different (sorry!).

I love our white gloss, fingerprints hardly show and are very easy to remove. Matt looks a big laboratory-like to me. But I prefer handles to handleless.

I think it’s the lighting. It’s definitely matt.

I thought matt didn't reflect?

Handle less. Have a goid think about that, it's just begging for constant fingerprints.

Also with gloss, consider what it'll be reflecting! It can make the kitchen look really messy/cluttered all the time if reflects lots of different doors/window etc. My friends reflects their white kitchen floor-so it looks lovely and calm

we have pale blue gloss acrylic wrapped units and a year later they still look brand new i use glass spray and a microfibre cloth on mine and it takes ten minutes to do the whole lot i love mine they bounce back light white matt always reminds me of the ones they put in on homes under the hammer i call them landlords kitchens but its your personal choice can you get samples of both and see what you like best in your kitchen as the light at home will be different to in the showroom this is mine i have tiled the backs since

My friend has white gloss. I have to wear sunglasses in her kitchen because the glare when it's sunny is a nightmare!
I much prefer matt.

I have gloss cabinets and a matt island, gloss is far easier and shows less marks than matt, but I do have handles as that reduces the fingerprints

I’ve had a gloss kitchen and a matt one. The gloss was so much easier to keep clean! The shiny coating repelled marks/dirt. The matt one is a nightmare. Every time I touch one of the cupboards I leave greasy fingerprints - no matter how clean my hands are! Water won’t shift them either. I’ve given up. There’s permanently greasy fingerprints where I open each cupboard and drawer. If I had handles it wouldn’t be so bad I’m guessing.
