Where can I buy a 2 bed house with garden for under £190k?

Nice, clean, safe area with good primary schools and plenty to do within a 15 minute drive.

Being able to walk into town is a bonus but appreciate this may not be possible, depending on house prices.

Looking for England, not NE.

Coastal would be a bonus but could be expensive or run down depending on area!

Doncaster and surrounding villages.

Crosby/Waterloo or maybe some of the other north Liverpool suburbs. Something like this

Plenty to do in the area and some great schools, restaurants, clubs for kids, parks etc. There's public transport to Liverpool city centre and also to Southport

parts of Greater Manchester. Not the most fashionable parts necessarily, but lots of safe and pleasant suburbs with a small village/local centre, and easy access into central manchester.

Bridgwater Somerset, which is fairly close to the coast

Southport

good town centre, huge beach, easy to go to Liverpool by train and lots of nice countryside for day trips e.g. lakes just up the motorway.

Another came along to say Cleveleys or the fylde coast. Close enough to Blackpool to have all the attraction benefits, far enough away to avoid the bad bits. There's also loads to do without going into the town centre, and lots within an hours drive, including the Lake District and Manchester.

Shipley/Saltaire/Baildon West Yorkshire. Some times of day you wouldn't get a mile in 15 minutes by road, but trains and busses are good.

Sunderland but it’s in the ne-it’s very dry!

Yorkshire. Quite a few nice, small towns and villages, with very schools. Big enough area to see different places or do different activities but all within an hour or so of each other. And a day or overnight at the coast is very do able.
