I don't mind it but the price is crazy although I suppose that's just London for you!

I love next door's pink Cronyn

polkadotpixie · 18/09/2021 08:05

I don't even know what a Cronyn is 😂

I meant pink front door!

Claraboochuffing · 18/09/2021 08:30

I like it...it looks bigger inside than I imagined. .but wonder if that would be the case in real life

Thighdentitycrisis · 18/09/2021 08:42

No
It’s too narrow and would be like living in a corridor

E11en · 18/09/2021 08:44

If the garden is wider than the house, which it clearly is then they could have done much more than stick a 30 grand seomra in the garden. Boring. They could have done so much more. I would have turned the house in to an indoor/outdoor spanish style walled tiled garden and then had a glass ''corrridor'' to the much wider house at the back. They've missed a trick tbh.

viques · 18/09/2021 08:47

I wonder how they got permission for the bed in a shed.

You know the neighbours will all hate you for the disruption building it has caused them over the last couple of years. Welll I would anyway. Grin

They really have. And what use is a liveable annexe, when the only access to it is through the house?

BigGreen · 18/09/2021 08:48

I'd move to z2 east London and get a proper 3 bedroom townhouse for the same price!

BigSandyBalls2015 · 18/09/2021 08:51

Nice area and it’d be lovely to stroll to the Thames and into Richmond.

They sofa though Shock, at least get some throws on it!

PurBal · 18/09/2021 08:51

Frustratingly narrow. My brother lives in a 2 bed flat in a more central location that is around the same price. I appreciate it’s arguably got less space and only a small balcony but I think the flat offers better value and more versatile space.

Ylvamoon · 18/09/2021 08:52

I love it, it's quirky. The kind of property I would move to post DC.
But I don't like the shed in the garden...
Price, well it's London.

TrueRefuge · 18/09/2021 09:10

I'm in South London so the price doesn't shock me per se... It's a nice house, clearly been done beautifully, but I wouldn't pay so much money for a full terrace, and I'm dubious re land status, I bet it's leasehold.

You could get far bigger for far cheaper in other parts of London, and just achieve a beautiful quality finish like that yourself.

The gardens very generous though, I do like that.

TheGrumpyGoat · 18/09/2021 09:12

It’s fine. I would pay the price if my budget was £650k and I wanted to live in Twickenham, and that was the best I could get for my money.
But I don’t live in London and don’t have £650k available, so no!

That is a gorgeous place, wow the views too. Lovely Boston thanks for sharing that I enjoyed reading about vintage spitelful neightbours too!

Peanutsandchilli · 18/09/2021 09:17

There were some new builds put up near me that were 9ft wide and I thought that was insane, but this is narrower than my child's single bedroom! Can't imagine why you'd want to spend over half a million to live in a corridor.

SunLovingMum · 18/09/2021 09:20

It is twickenham. It has a garden. That’s what the prices are. Yes, crazy impacted your other parts of the country. But it is all about location, location, location. We could have a castle in Scotland with gazillions acres for our house in Surrey. Trying to persuade DH just to move to Kent or Hampshire for bigger house/land has been impossible.

KingsleyShacklebolt · 18/09/2021 09:24

it's like Grimmauld Place in Harry Potter, squeezed in between two standard houses. It's TINY but would be great for a couple with no kids. SO tiny that they've had to put another bedroom at the end of the garden.

For that price you could get a 5 bed detached in one of the nicest areas of Glasgow.

factis · 18/09/2021 09:24

It looks like it’s breathing in!
Just looking at it makes me claustrophobic.

Exactly this. Just awful.

AtillatheHun · 18/09/2021 09:26

Hilarious that the estate agent thinks school catchment areas are going to be a factor for the purchasers of that! (2 lots of council tax because of the kitchen in the shed too)

thelastgoldeneagle · 18/09/2021 09:29

The main house is 7 foot 10 wide!!! Not in a million years. Claustrophobic as hell.

languagelover96 · 18/09/2021 10:05

The house is sweet but overpriced.

dworky · 18/09/2021 10:07

@HerRoyalNotness

Nuts. Should not have been allowed to be built.
Why? It has it's own front & back door and outside space so would widely be considered preferable to poky flats with likelihood of anti-social upstairs/downstairs neighbours.
Mamainthemaking · 18/09/2021 10:22

I think that’s a great price for Twickenham. I’d buy.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 18/09/2021 10:28

I’d like to live near a “plethora of shops”

Whammyyammy · 18/09/2021 10:35

A house squeezed into ann alley with a big shed in the garden....
