I once stayed in a hotel painted like this and it completely did my brain in!

I could; but (Covid notwithstanding) I don’t generally spend a lot of time at home and much of what I do is when entertaining, so it would be perfect.

It sounds like a desirable / trendy part of Manchester? If so, I can’t believe how cheap it is - it would be four times that price in my part of London and several times more than that in many others!

I bet the estate agent photographer swore a few times the day her photographed this place!

The original Victorian redwood floors have been brought back to life.

No they haven't, they have been killed by being smothered under several coats of black floor paint.

It's awful! You can't really see anything from the pictures.

I don't hate it, its quite nicely done, but I couldn't live in it.
One north facing room, maybe, like a reading corner.
But I need my place to be bright.
Just thinking about waking up in a black room on a gloomy winter morning...meh...

It’s in one of the grottiest, most run down parts of Manchester City centre. An area you walk past quickly on your way from the train station. Desperately being re-branded by developers as ‘Piccadilly Basin’.

SunShinesBrightly · 07/08/2021 10:53

‘Piccadilly sink hole’ would’ve more appropriate.

Whilst a bedroom and bathroom might be nice with a womb-like vibe, I couldn’t work out what room was what from the photos. I guess you wouldn’t see any dust, because you can’t see a bloody thing.

No I wouldn’t even view somewhere that looked like that- bad vibes (man)
