Why isn’t my house selling?

Please can you help?

We have been on since I think October, had only 2 viewings and one offer of £317k which was withdrawn as it was the top end of their budget - we wouldn’t have accepted anyway.

Most other houses locally seem to be moving really fast. Would appreciate guidance.

So without having gone to the shops or ordered anything, here are a few tweaks with what I already had.

And the beginnings of a gussied up tray for the coffee table. You can see that prettying things up is not my forte!

You've done well OP. Your kitchen looks so much better in your photos compared to the EA's. It's as if he was trying not to sell your house.

So am thinking definitely blinds for kitchen and bathroom.

Need something else on bathroom sill but not sure what.

Might be able to get away with just a chair in the kitchen for the photo if it’s taken at a clever angle? 😂

And I’m working on DH for a new sofa so will maybe increase my efforts. Definitely going to order the lighter rug and some new cushions and throws.

I’m still struggling to find art or mirrors I like for over the bed and over the sofa.

Good point about even lamps on the sideboard whoever said that, I can action that today I think.

The house at the back would put me off completely. It is very overlooked.

If you’re going to spend on anything I would get some tall bamboo in pots along your back fence. It is very overlooked
