Love most of the decor, especially that gorgeous wallpaper in the main bedroom.

It’s lively, i especially like the yard/garden.

PompomDahlia · 10/10/2020 23:53

It has a nice, fun, cosy family house vibe. But looks a bit cluttered for photos. Shame there's no grass/green space, but the courtyard would be great for entertaining

Why would you want to look at her house?
That’s a fair question but not as puzzling as why you would click on a thread titled Who wants to have a nosey at Zoe Ball's house? when you don’t actually want to look at Zoe Balls house?
SonjaMorgan · 10/10/2020 23:58

I actually love this minus the sofa set up. All the books in the kitchen and under the bed along with that garden, it's stunning.

Strangely unappealing from the front, but I love the courtyard thing. Gorgeous. Quite like the decor.
I quite like Zoe Ball. I think she's given a bit of a rough ride sometimes.

RubyViolet · 11/10/2020 00:00

She has moved out, bought a country pile in Newick nearby.

Genuinely curious as to why you'd want to pry into someone's personal life - it came up on Active, that's why I saw it
No ones "prying" Hmm. She's a public figure, she's selling her house, people, perfectly naturally, want to have a look. Stop ascribing unpleasant motives to normal behaviour.

Have you not heard of property porn? It’s a national pastime, double points if it’s a celeb house.

I totally love it! Doesn’t look amazing from the front but interiors and garden more than make up for it.

Kitchen is basically my dream kitchen, bar the oven, table and words on wall. Don’t like the grey sofa. Everything else is basically exactly what I would choose!

The kitchen cupboards and sink 😍 the green velvet 😍 the pink wallpaper 😍 the pale sage walls 😍 the green chinoiserie wallpaper 😍

And THE COURTYARD? 😍😍😍😍

PickAChew · 11/10/2020 00:23

It's cute and very her but much smaller than I'd have expected.

At least you can just throw your dirty dishes straight into the sink!

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 11/10/2020 00:30

Blimey she needs a new agent. It says five bedroom house but there’s only four bedrooms according to the floor plan. And only three of those are pictured. There’s a whole other snug/study that isn’t shown, which might mitigate for the only living room being part of the kitchen and there’s no pictures of the bathrooms.

TheSpottedZebra · 11/10/2020 00:34

I love it, especially the chairs.
It looks a very friendly house.

FredtheFerret · 11/10/2020 00:37

I like the house; not really my taste but being Northern the only thing I can see is that they're asking £1.25 million for a semi-detached house...

The mind boggles. If I was paying anywhere near a million quid I'd expect bloody detached as an utter minimum.

rainbowninja · 11/10/2020 00:38

Always find it fascinating to see how people live, I love her style!

FuckYouCorona · 11/10/2020 00:43

Didn't realise Ditchling was so expensive! Shock I'd want a better garden for that much!

1forAll74 · 11/10/2020 00:44

I like it, it's lovely, she seems to be a full of life person, and it shows in her home tastes, colourful and lively.. When you see some for sale houses, and there is just big areas of nothingness, and all grey and boring, I always wonder if the people who live in them all have OCD, as in nothing out of place, because there is nothing to put out of place.

Serin · 11/10/2020 00:45

I like the kitchen, it's the same colour and style as mine.
I dont like the outside at all. It looks like it's in a main road and has no privacy at all.

Yes that was puzzling me too. Interesting that there's no en suite.
colouringindoors · 11/10/2020 00:52

that is one gorgeous house

FredaFox · 11/10/2020 00:56

The courtyard is fantastic

I'm in London and live in a terraced house worth very nearly a million and half the size of this one!
blueshoes · 11/10/2020 01:06

Don't like the low ceilings but I guess cottages are like that. I like her quirky decor. Gives it charm and character.

That courtyard garden - just wow. The best thing is the staircase leading to a raised gallery area which wraps around the courtyard. Apparently there is also a lawned garden but there are no photos of that.

The courtyard reminds me of the Street Feast markets in London like Model Market and Dinerama (hope they are still around) which are thronged with trendy young people holding drinks.

MoonJelly · 11/10/2020 01:07

How mahoosive is that wood burner?

TableFlowerss · 11/10/2020 01:08

It’s a gorgeous house. I thunk I like it even more because it’s not the ‘clinical, ultra modern, minimal, grey grey grey’ look.

It looks like a family home were if you were invited for a cuppa, you wouldn’t be shitting yourself your kids riches a wall...
